Blk is the new isc
The Gold Coast SUNS and Huawei Australia today announced a five year sponsorship which will see Huawei become the club’s official technology and ball partner.
and yet i still can't get a reasonable size guernsey, either fat fu**s or skinny campaigners.Suns and GWS signed to BLK for apparel
Why? Jeep, Hyundai, Skoda, Volkswagon, Fiat, Renault, and previously Volvo, and Nissan have all sponsored teams in the afl with no manufacturing presence in AustraliaApparently Geelong's sponsorship with Ford is the longest running in sport (unless you count 'works' clubs like Bayer 04 Leverkusen, VfL Wolfsburg, PSV) but I take it this will come to an end when Ford pull out of Australia?
Well no. Virgin is a sponsor of the AFL itself. They are also a specified partner of the Gold Coast Suns, Carlton and GWS, in much the same way that Emirates is the airline partner of Collingwood, and China Southern the airline partner of Melbourne. What does that mean? Virgin is everyone's airline partner.
http://sportsbusinessinsider.com.au...urne-and-v8-supercars-thursday-deal-round-up/AFL: North Melbourne has signed on four new corporate partners with Allied Express Logistics, Elite Solar and Electrical, the Workwear Group and Munich Brauhaus joining the club’s sponsorship stable.
Allied Express will become an LED signage, community and digital partner of the club.
Elite Solar and Electrical will also become an LED signage partner whilst helping power the club’s headquarters, with the installation of new solar panels at Arden Street.
The Workwear Group has signed on as a digital partner of the club and will be kitting out the players and staff with club suits until the end of the 2017 AFL season.
And Munich Brauhaus has signed on as North’s official pre-game venue for North Melbourne supporters.
Non event in terms of conflict, interesting/relevant nonetheless. Exclusivity would/should attract a premium.Domain.com.au is reported in The West Australian as being rather unhappy with the Eagles being sponsored by realestate.com.au. Domain has naming rights to Subiaco worth $600,000 per year, with its name displayed in large lettering at three high-profile points inside the stadium and also on the outside of the venue, while the Eagles deal is worth about $200,000 and is featured on the stadium scoreboard. The Eagles have the right to negotiate sponsors without approval from the WAFC.
Is this really any different to Essendon refused to call their home ground the Telstra Dome due to their Three sponsorship? I miss Three, logo looked great on the jumper and we had our own website.Non event in terms of conflict, interesting/relevant nonetheless. Exclusivity would/should attract a premium.
WAFC chief executive Gary Walton denied it made moves to buy out the realestate.com.au sponsorship to satisfy Domain.
He said the ability of both the commission and the two AFL clubs to generate revenue from the stadium was a strength of WA football’s integrated model.
“This does have the potential to present challenges around category exclusivity for sponsors from time to time,” he said. “The WAFC has not purchased sponsorship properties from either of our AFL clubs and will continue to ensure the obligations of our sponsors are met.”
Correct, same as Ford at the Cats & Toyota at the AFL, yep a non event. Is this really any different to Essendon refused to call their home ground the Telstra Dome due to their Three sponsorship? I miss Three, logo looked great on the jumper and we had our own website.
