The AFL asks clubs to select a country/international venue for a practice match to be played.

Sydney has selected Lord's and Port Adelaide has selected Honolulu.

The Melbourne Football Club would like to announce that they will take on West Coast for the Smirnoff Cup which is to be held in Russia.

West Coast accepts this offer for a practice match. It is hoped the Smirnoff Cup will become an annual event. As well as the result of the match, the team who picks up the hairiest Russian shiela will contribute to who takes home the cup.

The Wizard Cup begins on Sunday 15 February with Essendon playing Fremantle, teams of 20 must be posted the night before in the press center. The full schedule can be found here.

THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB WOULD LIKE TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE AFL HAS BUGGERED UP...YET AGAIN!!!

Ben Holland is a Melbourne listed player as he and Jay Schultz came to the Dees in the FIRST trade period for Mark Alvey.

Yet, for some strange reason, it says that in the second trade period Ben Holland, Kent Kingsley and Heath Black headed to Geelong in return for Jess Sinclair and Michael O'Loughlin.

the afl ceos have rushed to afl headquaters to discuss " the richmond list" dibargle.

" we are scanning over all team list for more of the same situations. if there happens to be anymore then we will do them all @ once."

melbourne have been giving a trade week were they can contact clubs and ask 4 a trade. they have until this thursday.


well basically West Coast have complained cuz they missed 1/2 of trade week due to hols so ive decided to have a general NON compulsory trade week

i will not be allowing ne more teams to trade
