What would be the problem with that?

The only potential conflict is when the relative has no business being on an afl list. Even then, who cares? If the clubs want to waste a valuable list spot on a spud, go for it.
Just saying it's an opportunity to increase money from sponsors to players

Dillon doing a bit of damage control today but did mention as long as the terms of a third party sponsorship weren't changed around the time of recruitment then it would be fine to remain outside of the salary cap. Given Smiths Cotton On deal was unfavourable (his own fault) for him ahead of the trade, do we think it's plausible that the contract was changed again?

Anyway. Does anyone think it's plausible a former captain and 4x premiership player invoiced a "company" the day after his Geelong contract ended for a "services rendered" at a significant am000000unt?

Leave the guy alone…nothing wrong with a start up loan shark business. Nice interest rate btw. The CBA wishes they could charge you 10 percent interest.

Word has it that Messi is unhappy in New York and that the worlds best ceo, whiskas’s brother, has reached out to him. Deal is $50 million over 30 years plus all of Belmont, Queenscliff and Torquay. Apparently no salary cap issues as the three suburbs will be transferred to his wife and children. The AFL has already ticked off on the deal and said if Whiskas’s brother reckons it’s ok, it must be ok.

Every Geelong person online will just say that people raising eyebrows about this is just jealous, but the perception of a conflict of interest is just as much of an issue as a real conflict of interest. How can people justify this with a straight face?

It's not even perception, he is essentially involved with auditing himself. It's cooked.

Are they the same? Hmmm.
Both are as deplorable as each other in terms of PR.

Couldn't care less about either holding a position at either company but for the sake of neutrality and at least the appearance of a fair and thorough investigation the AFL shouldn't be having anyone with any sort of link to Geelong involved.

Dan Andrews caused unknown levels of mental illness with his dictatorship.

PR or otherwise, not sure I'd put them in the same realm myself.

Tbh I think heaps of teams wouldn’t give a stuff with their AFLW sides doing this
