Judging by the clearances, Port & Saints very strong once again & some decent players to Hawks & Souths...
 
is it just me or is there next to no clearances coming into north cairns ? plenty outgoing.
can any affiliated with norths comment on any possible recruits ?
thoughts on how the ladder will look toward the pointy end of the season ?
mine
port: no challengers this season
hawks : possibly ports only challenge
saints : clear 3rd not losing to any teams below them
souths : to finish 4th only because of teams below them cant
lions : will compete with all but top 2
centrals: same boat as lions
norths : unless they have replaced novy and clough and added 5-6 more key position players they will be the lions of 2017
 
Is the salary cap still at 60k for the season. Seems like a small cap for the talent in some teams ? under the table deals. Kye Chapple would have to be on decent coin, along with Dixon from cutters and Flint from hawks
