Wodonga Raiders in the strong Ovens & Murray League are searching for a new coach for season 2022 and beyond. The Raiders have managed to play finals every season since 2015 and are currently sitting in 5th position again 2 games clear inside the top 5. The 3rds are in 3rd position and the Raiders have the biggest amount of teams participating in the Albury Wodonga Junior Football League with 2 sides in each age group.
Healthy remuneration and relocation assistance will be offered and job opportunities will be provided for the successful applicant and partner if required.
If you would be interested in discussing this opportunity please call Stephen on 0439 464 353
What's the salary? Just tried to log on to the website but it doesn't exist/work. What is going on with reggies? Are they having a difficult year?

The Ressies have battled big time with injury this season but have a stronger list to choose from tomorrow. They are definitely a young side. We are also close to announcing some good news on the rercuiting front which is exciting with so many good kids coming through.
Happy to discuss salary with anyone who wants to give us a call on the number we listed.

Any truth to the whisper that the tri-colours have pulled the pin against the roos this weekend?
Time to re-invest, might be worth paying a few older lads from up the grades to help give some experience while they re-generate their list.

Yeah it's true. Wonder if it will be the only forfeit for today... Terrible Conditions out there!
It seems like numbers across the board might be down a little this year. Is Ainslie the only club that still has four sides? If so, they have done a remarkable job since 2013 to keep all four sides going with very little forfeits.
Having played there a bit, it was weirdly a club where the older blokes wouldn't filter down the grades as they were coming to the end. And would more likely retire in the top grades. That type of experience is invaluable for emerging players especially in Div 4 against some of the old heads you find in the country teams.

Does anyone think that the washed out grounds could affect a teams chances of making finals? Or their position in finals? If a team was meant to be playing a bottom 3 side they would have had a good chance of picking up extra %.

Undeniably affects a team's chances at moving up (or down) the ladder, not just scoring percentage boosts but the effect on win percentage. Without diving into the fixture, it could still have an impact on whoever finishes top 2 out of the top 3.. but probably not the top 4. %ages, games played and draws all a factor for that 3.

It'd be great to catch up with everyone and have a 'Travelling AFL Canberra' drink up when this lockdown ends.
