I'll monitor the AFL Coaches Association votes for the Suns players and update this complete leaderboard weekly.
Be interesting to see who our own and opposition coaches rate and whether it mirrors our board medal voting.

7 Eagles got votes - no Suns, yet we got within 11 points late.
I even struggled to find 5 players for our own BOG thread.
That might be a good sign.
Might be..Im not sure
We certainly hung in there.
We tend to let good players dominate us though.
Elliot Yeo had his best game of the year, same for Darling, Shuey, Gaff..

Neil Votes had a weekend off

Witts been stiff to only get the one vote so far this year

Think he’s been good in most games but rarely one of the best 5 players on the ground.

Especially when we have lost most of the games.

This was the first week I’d put him in my top 2 or 3 in board medal voting

I wouldn't expect him to have too many more, but one coach rating him as the fifth best on ground in one game is at least a second vote short of what I would have expected.

Having watched the replay the other day, Neil Votes was robbed.

I find it interesting to think which coach gave who votes.
Do we assume it was Dew?
Or maybe Cameron though he should flick one our way.

I disagree, I thought Holman did a fantastic job keeping Whitfield quiet and deserved whatever he got from the coaches.

I'd want to hope Dewy gave him the nod but he also strikes me as a realist who probably felt it was hard to give his own guys votes given the scoreline.
