I think this has been posted before but I can't find the post so I'm re-posting it. Does anyone know of an AFL coaching game one similar to championship manager for soccer. I think their is an online game available. can someone please provide a link or something.

ATM it is the best AFL Manager game going around, but TAR is soon to bring out an improved version of their 2004 hit game for free which can be accessed here:http://www.stratagemsports.com.au/

No one knows the release date and it has said soon for a few months but hopefully it wont be long until it is out.

TAR 2003 >> FF FX...i could never pass one year in FF, haven't been able to pass one year in FX either...you're all just tight. FF FX is the best free AFL mgt game, but as a game, TAR shits all over it

Yeah but no one is going to pay $30 for a game when there will be an updated version of it coming out "SOON".

Seriously though, youre the only one who has had this problem. I must have done about 30 careers by now, all at least 2 years long.

FX = Better stats but really, they both have their good points.....and bad.....

Quite simply the best game out there for Aussie Rules management is On The Ball.

Jump in take a look at the forums etc. It is pretty involved and interactive or course.

Sign a team up, join a league and get stuck in...

I did play. Then they re designed. I re-registered and never received the email to allow me to play. I gave up.

Basically your in charge of one of the 16 AFL teams and the main idea of the game is to trade players with the other teams in order to win the premiership. Points are awarded to your players in your team based on supercoach points. It is a very addictive game. Atm, there are a few coaches that haven't been submitting their teams for the las few weeks so their positions look shaky, so if you're comitted and want to give it a try, hop on the site, register and post a reply in the "apply for coach thread"
 
There's a few good sites out there but in my opinion the site mentioned in the previous post would have to be right up there as the best AFL team management game.

It will be played over a number of seasons.
Players can be traded between clubs and there is a draft at the end of each season.
Each club has a stadium and training facilities that can be upgraded to increase revenue and club performance. Extra improvements to the game are also being looked at with all coaches encouraged to put forward their ideas.
The site's very active with a good bunch of energetic and dedicated coaches.

There are currently positions available for up to 3 new coaches.

I got a game called Kevin Sheedy Coach 2002. It kinda like afl 2005/06/07 etc xept ur the coach. Its pretty good.

I used to play AFL Finals Fever when i was very young, about 4 to 9 or so. That was a good game except you couldn't kick on angles and other stuff. I always got scott cummings like 20 goals each game. I would do anything to play that again!!

Officially Official (announced a month ago actually).

Pretty amazing for a mega low budget vision to now being published and marketed to the masses through EB Games. Shows what determination can do.:thumbsu:

Been running one of these competitions since 2004, and started another one this year that is going very well. Here is the links, if you like what you see, and it is up your alley, I have caretaker coaches for Bombers and the GC in competition two, that I need to get more permanent coaches for. So if you like what you see, let me know. Come in at any time, stay for a long time. Some oher coaches are seasoned coaches.
