Someone hacked the AFL site and it went down for a while. Appears to be back up now.

But for a while it was displaying this:

AFLHacked.jpg

Some sort of Footy Anonymous at work?

From the looks of that image, it seems that the Admins have been updating the site and exposed the editor toolset.

The AFL website was down this afternoon after I could access it this morning. They definitely seemed to be fixing something as it suddenly wouldn't let anyone in for an hour or so, and just displayed a server error message. Looks like it is back to normal now.

I think the point about the CMS being made public is more important.

The AFL system is shonky as.

Remember how you could just change a few numbers on a URL string and make it appear that Brendon Goddard was a West Coast player etc?

This is interesting; I wonder if the person/people involved will be found and arrested? Or is that not possible?

That's not photoshopped.

Who cares about the message, the bloody CMS admin panel was exposed...the damage you could do with that
I would have hacked North Melbourne's page to correct the misspelling of North.

It could have been Julian Assange.

Think he's a North supporter.

I was on the Carlton website a few months ago and part of the CMS admin section was exposed to public. I was able to log in to what was a text editor and change one part of the homepage. I didn't of coarse edit anything but could have quite easily. Pretty disappointing to see it happen again. Blame Telstra!
