Sainter,

Have to disagree with you about being on an even keel, I know several people who have no problems picking a team today because they have no players on the edge of selection. I on the other hand have several players who may or may not play which makes a huge difference if a selcted player doesn't play.

Well, then you have picked the wrong players in your initial squad haven't you...

You're right Happy Hawker.

Some coaches will have the luxury of having 22 players that will pick themselves (no injuries or form worries). Others like yourself will have players on the verge of selection but whether or not they will be chosen at this stage is impossible to know.

I did overlook that in my post. I suppose all coaches had to take a different approach to this round. Going for a solid player with no injuries and form concerns may have been more beneficial than a star player under an injury cloud.

Having said that, the aim of this game was to choose a squad of 40 where a fair percentage will be regular players. It is in instance like this where I think Aussie Roo is right. You should have enough players that have played regularly and are almost certain to pull on the boots.

By the way, are you both in our bigfooty group? There are 32 of us in a group so if you want to join, let us know.
