AFL Conspiracy Against Richmond??

I was invited over to a mate's to watch the Brisbane game against Richmond tonight. Turn up and there's a small crowd of people there, amongst them Steve Hocking! Not as tall as I imagined I thought at the time.

The game starts and it's pulsating footy, lots of lead changes, I look over at Steve in 2nd quarter and he's seemingly unmoved by the action. Weird I think. Game goes up a notch in 3rd and Steve is just sitting at the back, arms folded, ice cool. Not sure what to think but another goal and my attention is grabbed by the game again.

Come the final act, 1 minute left and Lynch marks 8 metres out on an angle. A goal will win the game for them. I look over and Steve is now on his phone talking quietly. Game ends, Brisbane lucky winners. Steve stands up and declares loudly "my work here is done" and starts to leave. "But you didn't do anything" I retort. Steve just smiles, "Didn't I"? he says bemusingly, and gives me a wink before leaving quietly....

Story isn’t believable because Geelong supporters don’t have mates. The rest checked out though.

it's this woke garbage that sport must be point accurate.. making every tiny milometer measured cos they can't just let TWO umpies in a final look straight up in a final and salute the goal the goal the old fashioned way. The newbies didn't see those Waverley Park goals that looked awesome as ONE goal umpie just walked up and said the result with TWO flags...
