That's wicked.

Agree with the guy who said having the AFL logo plus writing AFL in the game name doesn't look right. The above design has used the logo well. Good image of Brown to use as well.

There's a lot of good efforts here but the stars needed on the front to draw in the public's attention when skimming through titles on a shelf full of games would be IMO

Ablett, Buddy and Riewoldt

Possibly Juddy as well but I think 3 is enough.

Probably bias but I think if the game is called AFL 2010 then there should be a spot on the cover for Michael Barlow.

Err yeh, ok. Just for you.
If there is to be actual players on the cover it will go to the games ELITE.
Not 2010's best rookie. Yes Barlow will be up there at the half way mark in the Brownlow count but that only means he's a star of 2010..

It's taken years for perception to finally realise Lenny Hayes, Dane Swan etc are elite stars of the game & even they're not quite marketable enough to sell product. Barlow has a long way to go. Ablett, Brown Riewoldt, Franklin & Judd are the games biggest names for marketability. (nothing to do with "best" players)

I wouldn't be surprised if the game cover was animated like previous ones, it would probably save them money. However Rugby League had a real player on it, so I don't know.

It looks so much better with players on it.

Obviously looks fantastic. Close to professional standard. Only thing is that it seems to be a bit too dark around the edges, especially around Abletts head. Probably want the players to be a little more prominent.

Because of his story he is one of the most liked players in the league, I couldn't see anybody being unhappy with him on the cover as opposed to some Carlton/Collingwood players everyone else may hate.

Haha I hope you don't work in marketing mate. Everyone loves the feel good story of Barlow but that would never happen.

I'd personally be offended if Naitanui was on the cover, I know you mentioned most recognisable players, but if we're going for an AFL game the elite would be on there; which Naitanui is definitely not regarded as.

Yeah, good observation. I tried to make it so Ablett popped because before it was the stadium behind him and he kind of blended in. I ended up shadowing him a bit.
