AFL 2006's box art is pretty good IMO.
I reckon that now the game has proper looking players (compared to the generic players throughout the 06 box art) it would look sweet if they use the in-game players to re-create something similar. We'd also be seeing all 16 teams players (17 if Gold Coast are the official team in the game) and then nobody would be disappointed at only getting a select few from their team on the cover.

2nd attempt. Few mistakes on there like some of Hanners hair missing. This one is who will be IMO the Coleman Medalist, Rising Star and Brownlow Medalist. If any of you want players on a cover just send a message my way. BTW does anyone know how to use the splatter brush like DK did on a previous page.

Definitely one of the better cover's. I like the fact that the player images are of a nice high quality with no watermarks.
Although being a "SA" wouldn't it be more realistic to have Football Park in the background and not the G?

Apart from the EA Sports, NTSC, ESRB and One HD stuff that is just about what I'd actually expect to see from the upcoming AFL cover if using a live player. Kudos.I had a crack at some. EA style. The green one hd sort of goes with the green xbox colours.

The blue and red look rather offensive together unless you can separate them with white. See the bulldogs jumper and the AFL logo. I see your idea with the stadium background but the quality and lighting of the photo is poor. Something brighter with higher resolution would help. Also the BigAnt logo would look better with a border or a drop shadow.
The players look really good! You obviously have a steady hand to make those long strokes?
If you didn't want the bird shit on Chris Judd you could remove it with the spot healing brush.
