Thought i'd give this a shot, i liked the idea earlier on about having a different cover for each state so i knocked up an SA one.

This is easily the best one!!

so pies have swan, richmond deledio, carlton judd etc.

would probably cost more? so maybe not a realistic idea

Would be a real hassle for Tru Blu to ship 16 seperate copies to each store

in vic: 5 teams on one side, 5 on the other
in wa: lecca on one side, pav on the other
in sa: crow/power
in qld: lion/sun
in nsw: goodes/other sydney player

It is. 16 different copies to each and every retailer in high numbers is ridiculous. Then you have issues of people not necessarily knowing or caring about individual covers and how many of each team to order, despite not knowing how any will realistically sell.

At worst, I reckon maybe offer up a printable cover for each team (much like what Heavy Rain offered to US buyers and a few other games have offered). That way it's all done online and there's no hassle to the publisher.

Maybe, but then what goes with people who live in WA, SA, Vic, etc. who don't actually care for WCE or Freo or Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide or Melbourne teams, etc.?

I mean we're likely to get something with Ablett, Judd and/or Franklin on it, but they're marketable players that represent the brand in Official ads and such.

I just think (if it could be done) put all 16 teams covers up on the net and let people print off their fave. Saves on wasted covers and saves on reversibles that people might hate regardless.

I think we'll be getting a footy (which Ross has said is the plan to try that). Far easier to mass produce and give out than individual stuff like team caps/DVD's.
