Scandal AFL COVID Cover-up...

Old news?

The source of this story was a video posted on YouTube about a month ago. Grimes and Riewoldt shooting the s**t at a presentation night/function, having a laugh, while having a beer in hand.

It was posted on the Richmond board at the time.

Unfortunately, the quotes from the article provide no context whatsoever. As a result of that, I am crying into Premiership cups as we speak.

Old news.

Video has now been taken off Youtube as well.

Afl covered it up nicely , players spoke through. The afl fined teams for individual breaches yet they put the whole club at risk players and staff work that out hypocrites.Funny how the media hasn't jumped on it are they told to be silent by the afl makes you wonder bit like this board not much attention this topic I wonder why.

What a beat up ! - It was the state health authorities in this case SA Health who make all the travelling and bio-security protocols for travelling sporting teams. It has nothing to do with the AFL - It's a case of Richmond shifting blame for their mis-behaviour during 2020.

Reckon that's what happened with the Watts car incident. Eve of finals, Port a contender, weirdly no reference at all to the player bubble breach. No scribe seemed to even pose the question. Not that Tigers did anything wrong here, just that it's further proof that the AFL can silence their accredited media as needs be.

So Richmond organised team hotels LOL you got no idea it's the afl who does and has duty of care for all staff and players.

Didn’t they say Watts was already out of the bubble? Or was that just said conveniently afterwards.

What a load of sh*t

You are so naive, it's not funny - Any form of quarantine in these COVID times ( even for a FIFO game in which you spend a few hours at a hotel ) is organized by the relevant health authorities - The AFL or for that matter any sporting body, doesn't choose the hotel in which they stay - It's a stuff up by the relevant health authorities.

It is the health authorities who choose the hotels not the AFL - It's surprising you fail to understand this matter.

So who does the responsibility ultimately come down to if the health authorities choose to the hotels as you claim stuff up or no stuff up ? , it's not the AFL running the game in charge . The clubs come back to the AFL not health authorities they a responsible for this incident at the end of the day. What happens between them and health authorities is irrelevant to the clubs That's a cop out your giving the AFL.
