Hmmm that's the question though... Can you say with certainty he wont be stuck in the backline?

If I knew he would spend some time up forward and/or in the midfield I wouldn't hesitate to get him.

I think I might have to welcome big Troy into my side
Two reasons not to get Simmonds:
- He is probably overpriced do you think?
- Will struggle to handle the large work load on the ruck.

Two reasons to get Simmonds:
- Guaranteed to play a lot of the match, resting up forward.
- Finally settled into Richmond now and ready to have a big year.

This is a tough decision. Some feedback please.

I disagree on 'the reasons not to get Simmonds'. Don't you reckon the more closer he is to the ball the higher he'll score. If he has a large work load hell get more points. His price is a bit high but whose price isnt?

Personally i cant see McIntosh scoring that much less than other rucks priced around the $200k mark.
Think again....IF he plays, he will be averaging around 30 id think....he wont get many taps and labours around the field currently. He gets stats on a rebound when the opposition ruck is caught out running away.....

But in a year or two he will be outstanding I think

The more he works, the more he tires. And the quicker he fatigues, the less possesions he can get around the ground. I dont know, it is just my theory. He is not one of my rucks at the moment. I would like to have him, but none of my rucks are worthy of getting rid of.
For example, Simmonds or Mooney?

Where are the weaknesses?
McVeigh is no certainty to radically improve his average. He most likely will play in the back pocket and not half-back line
Adcock and Mundy probably need another year to consider as they are still too young and will average 60s
Fisher isnt the best dream team player

My point is you need more stars and less fringe players

He won't get any worse.

His value is a little high though and my team is finally settled.

By the way, I've worked my Port players down to 5

Simmonds. Way more consistant.

Saying that I have Mooney.

Do you have Simmonds?
And you didn't answer my question. The only ruck i am considering getting rid of is Mooney. What do you think?

And CC, let me have a punt at your Port players:
C.Cornes
S.Burgoyne
S.Salopek
D.Cassisi
D.Motlop

???

Pretty confident i am right. ;)

exactly Mitch Clark would be a better option IMO, I still can't work out people's descision to continually have McIntosh in their 22.

There's a lot of ifs buts and maybes aren't there!

I jumped online to tweak my team - it's two hours later and I've made one change!

Couple of things I'm a bit worried about:

Prestigiacomo in my 22!
Franklin and Merret in my 22!
Steven King or Mooney? For some reason my rucks are frustrating me!!
Melb's Nathan Brown - Something tells me shouldn't be in my 22...

Gooness, just reading this list, I think I'm in more trouble than I thought!!
