Yeah not too sure. I am not allowed to watch the game because I'm outside the AFL area ... which burns me, but anyway, how did Ray do?

Played only 5 games last year for a 50 avg, did you get any indication he might be in the preferred starting 22?

I only got to see the second half coming back from a game of indoor soccer. Nothing too good. I have looked for ray in previous years to come good. Doesn't appear to be coming on.

Re: Higgins. Played more of a forward role and scored well so if he is able to keep his spot there and occassionally play in the middle then he'll be a not so bad option. Generally I think you're in the right though - too many players to unseat in the best 22 atm.

Nope

100% agreed.
However, you still need to look into a few things.
i.e current fitness levels, injuries, form, change of playing roles, starting price, etc, etc...
Of course but that constitutes knowledge of the game and players

Alright then HBG, I guess we'll never see you here again? We'll miss you. :D
Haha, I knew someone would come up with this! I'd like to think I know my footy...

in fairness i think i did confuse him with soemone else so i am sorry hardballget after i looked back over your post but he has suggested dustin fletcher and warren tredrea.
No worries mate.
I didnt recommend those guys I mentioned. Tredders I am considering but I mearly threw Fletchers name up asking if he would score more away from full back.

LOL, they think u are trying to trick people HBG.......... :D

U Trickstar ;)
Damn! Busted. If I was like you Hodgie and finished (top 10?) close to the top then I would perhaps go nuts on looking at form, injuries and bargins etc. but finishing out of top 100 consistently means its just a game for me.:)

I can't see anywhere on fanfooty that has 2007 starting values for players. I doubt they will be the same, anyway. Dream Team prices change every year.
I agree that prices will probably be different thats why i have made a team with 30 grand in the bank just in case some prices are higher.

If they continue what has been happening.

The magic number will increase meaning player prices will go up and the salary cap will stay pretty stagnent meaning selecting players to stay under the salary cap will be a nightmare.

can't speak for mitch clark but on slightly different topic, what do people think of harbrow's chances of a few games at the bulldogs this year? he's posted decent numbers for a draftee in his first 2 nab cup games.

All the talk last night was about Charman as #1 ruckman, who got reported, and Beau McDonald as the #2. Then there is Cam Wood whose talked about as the 3rd. Mitch Clarke only played 5 games last year so you'd think its either got OP or has just dwindled into the wilderness.

Mitch Clark isn't a ruckman...

Hmmmmm I may be the first person to say this but after watching Gibbs' opening 2 games, I don't reckon I'll get him. Not to say that he won't be a good player for the Blues this year, but he hasn't had much time on ground and hasn't got a lot of it. Selwood on the other hand.....................
