At the moment I'm keen to find some backs that will do well this year. I already have a number of forwards, rucks and centres to pick between, but I'm really struggling to find some backs.

I was thinking Sam Fisher, as I think he might have a big year. And also, what about Joel Bowden? He was talking about a move to midfield, which could increase his DT score. He just seemed a bit inconsistent last year.

Any advice on these two, or any other backs to keep an eye on, would be much appreciated. Cheers guys.

I agree with the Haselby/P. Burgoyne train of thought to. Noone will make my team if they don't look like they are going to make me money, and all indicators suggest they both will.

In terms of Moloney, he has actually been in my tentative squad from day one. From what I've read over the last couple of months, he is primed to get consistent games which should lift his price nicely. My only concern is that players coming back from injury are often slow starters, so he could be made a scapegoat if the Dees fail to get off to a flyer IMO
Senior Burger = NO for me
Reasons why i think this will remain quiet for now.

Considering that the Fanfooty prices and the actual prices on the HeraldSun Supercoach Comp are way different, this will probably mean the Dreamteam prices on Fanfooty are different to the actual prices aswell.

Anyone I buy around the 300k mark is coming into my team as a permanent fixture for the entire season. Obviously unforseen things such as injury and really unexpectedly poor form may result in me selling but I certainly won't be buying a 300k player as a cash cow. The making money idea is only really relevant if you're looking at eventually selling, and in my humble opinion buying players around that price range with a view to sell is a waste of a trade.

Smart coach.
You have the same outlook as me.

It is not suprising for him to rate the dons so high, considering that they beat the reigning premiers by 58 points in Subiaco without Hird, Lucas, McPhee, M.Johnson, J.Johnson, etc, etc.
:p
"Cough" Mark Johnson played "Cough"

17 kicks 10 handballs 9 marks

i want it to hurry up and come out will higgins be consistant enough to have a starting position in my line up my strategy weill be to go for strong rucks and backs and cheaper mids and a solid forward line also doin the same as another poster earliar when i spend a considerable amount on a player i want them to be there all year with consistant scores.

choosing your 320+ k players is just as important as the young improvers.

Thoughts on polak?

How did the original team you picked last year resemble the team you finished with?

Call me a cash cow :thumbsu: you know the top players will have money and trades to burn by round two two
