Hawkins playing this week for Geelong in the semi finals.... so could again throw a few things around if your prepared to take the risk.

Steve Johno is also back training with the main group... will he knuckle down?

Re: Afl Dream Team 07 Launch Day?

Guys I am having trouble logging in. I have sent an email and I hope to find out why I can not log in. I do have my preferences for 4 players but I am not sure how long it will be before I can get back in.

What are your thoughts on Clinton Young and Ben McGlynn?
IMO theyve had impressive pre-seasons but McGlynn in particular may have low game time, plus his disposal needs improvement.

hey monty,
i can't find monfries or m campbell (kangas) on your price predictor at fanfooty.com anywhere?
Angus is a centre, with SC price of $360,900 and projected DT price of $277,000. Matt Campbell is a rookie so he doesn't appear on the price prediction, because you know what his price will be already!

Top 5 are good

Is darcy ready to go?
Is Rodan going to play 10 games in a row to start with?
and Hadley, if he is ready to go (have not heard a word on this) then I'm going to get him.

Speculative picks

My speculative picks so far this year- N Lappin and Kosi are way undervalued if (and its a big if!) they can can have full seasons and play somewhere near capacity. I also picked Xavier Ellis and Campbell from the roos. Have taken a huge punt on X Clarke as well.

So who do you think is a risk that could pay off?

I agree and have put Lappin and Kosi in my team as well. I may have a crack at Darcy as well.

If J. Brown and Hayes are good value then I'll fly home with the Pigs. I'm guessing they will be the two highest priced players coming off injuries. Not saying they won't score well, but there will be equal players to them at a lot less cheaper price. I doubt Lloyd will be great value also. I'm also not sure why you would even consider Brooks. I thought he only played one game last year, and he played a blinder against Brisbane in round 22, so his average will be fairly high. Given he only played one game, it might be different, though. It probably wouldn't matter if he was $80,000 anyway, I still wouldn't buy him.

From that list, Kozzi, Lappin, Moloney, Jones and perhaps R. Murphy will all be good value and will help you make a profit to upgrade to better players at a cheaper price as their scores and prices should all sky rocket.

just going through the plan team on fanfooty, notice there are pretty much no backline players any more, ridiculous. Im quite sure brad sewell, and wojinski play in their respective backlines. Swan played nearly all year in the back, the game has changed and backliners are almost another midfielder, but its ridiculous for this dream team if that is how many players we have to choose for our backline. There are enough centres to choose from already, just makes it so much harder.

I dont mind the challenge, but i pretty much had my team planned now i have to start all over again.

Whilst I understand your main argument the season hasnt even started yet so it doesnt really matter that you have to pick your side again.
I havent even started picking my side and I wont until the thing opens.
