I have to admit, Sheedy coached pretty poorly today.
He also made a bad mistake in bringing in Johns (last week), Bradley and Bolton for Winderlich (last week), Jetta and Hille.
He bought in three slow talls, for two fast midfielder types and a ruckman.
In my honest opinion, he should have debuted Houli.
Laycock and Ryder could have managed the ruck duties against Collingwood, seeing as though Fraser is basically the only decent ruckman down at that club which means he should have replaced our injuries with three smalls with some pace which would have put Collingwood on the back foot seeing as though they are a resaonably slow team to begin with.

Our midfield is our weakness, correct, but we did not get smashed in that department today.
Lloyd and Lucas were shut-down today (suprisingly) and like most teams, if your key forwards fail to produce, then you usually lose.

I have to admit that a lot of what you say I tend not to agree with at all, but here you are absolutely right. Bradley is a waste of space. I also doubt, however, that he will be delisted, rather I see him turning into the next Mark Bolton. A guy who goes in and out of the side and is constantly berated for sub-standard performance when he is in there!
 
actually i dont think kepler bradly is that bad, i mean he had a bad game and stuffed up once or twice big time. because it was such a big game today and he ruined it for essendon everyone seems to hate him. if he didnt turn it over someone else would of.
 
Paddy Ryder was THE worst player in the league last year- every kick a clanger or out on the full, but he's shaped up allright. I say knock Kepler down to the VFL for a stint n let him develop his kicking. Or turn him into glue- i'm undecided.
 
Stuff it.
You all know where my feelings for Bradley stand and i am just sick of hearing or even reading the guys name so it is time to move on.

U were smacked 65 inside 50's to 45 inside 50's. U could safely say u were smacked at stoppages today. U can't blame the forwards although they were poor today.

When O'Brien went to Lucas, why didnt Sheedy send him to the goal square and isolate O'Brien 1 on 1. :confused:

And can someone tell me why JJ isnt playing, did he sleep with Sheedys Mrs

I'm a little frustrated tonight. Just got home to see Cloke scored 119 which is fine except i relegated him to the bench this week in favour of Davey :(
Now i'm in the position of hoping one of my fowards doesn't play as Cloke was an emergency...lol
There's talk that G Ablett will be out so i guess there's hope yet :p

They got majority of their inside 50's through the turnovers from their defence.
Lucas and Lloyd were getting spoiled and they pounced on the counter attack which made it easier for them to deliver the ball into their forward line.

Where did you get these stats from?
What were the total clearances for the game?

JJ is playing for Bendigo in the VFL but likewise, i have "no idea" why he is not playing considering that he is an All Australian player.
He might just be playing in the VFL to get his match-fitness and confidence up before he sets foot on the main stage again?

By the way, i wanted to mention two more things from the game:
- I personally do not think that there is a better all-round defender in the game than J.Clement.
AND
- From what i have seen from Alwyn Davey so far, he is better than his brother.
 
LH15 I know your relationship with Mcphee was somewhat strained last year and was wondering if he is in your side atm? and what your thoughts on him are this year?

McPhee screwed me like no other player in DT has. :mad: 2 shocking years for me when he scored like garbage and carried injurys through the whole year. But still i followed his progress through the pre-season. Very limited pre-season and a couple of little injurys to boot. Had a couple of ordinary practice games and 1 pretty good one. Couldnt put myself through the pain again, so i thought i would pass because IMO i dont think his body will be up for the rigours of 22 games. Realised with Michael and Fletcher taking KP posts, McPhee likely to be released but wasnt gunna get bent over again.

His form has been outstanding (DT wise). Heaps of easy uncontested marks and kicks and chipping sideways means heaps of points.

If his body stays right, (IF) he should be in the top 3 Backs for the year overall.

Simliar thoughts I have and I can easily understand you leaving him out this year and possibly for every year :p
