My team (16 trades left, $172,800 in bank):
(B) C.Cornes, H.Shaw, Symes, Milburn, Gram, Taylor, Wonnaeamirri (Spangher, Proud)
(C) Ablett, Cross, K.Cornes, Stevens, Houli, N.Jones (Palmer, Bird)
(R) Cox, Simmonds (Kruezer, West)
(F) Medhurst, Porplyzia, Pavlich, Deledio, Hill, Rioli, J.Brown (Tippett, Gamble)
Game plan:
* Upgrade some of the defence some time in the future when the cash cows mature
* Upgrade Houli, N.Jones - downgrade Bird
* Upgrade forwards to Chapman, Riewoldt, B.Johnson (if he comes right)
The dilemma - options for this week:
Upgrade N. Jones to Mitchell - will cost about $87,500. The transfer price probably won't be much different next week. Is Mitchell worth it or do I just wait for Swan or Corey who's price will dip a bit in the coming weeks, since Stevens probably is my 6th midfielder it might be best to go for a gun? Does Mitchell class as a almost gun and therefore better to wait?
Upgrade Hill to Riewoldt - will cost $148,600. Probably the only option for a forward upgrade at the moment. Deledio is probably worth keeping - at least for now. Gamble will probably be an easy trade to B.Johnson in a month which would leave Medhurst or Deledio to Chapman.
Which is the best option - or is there something else I am missing?
P.S. I do plan on possibly getting Armitage for Bird - assuming Armitage is still goes ok this week and gets picked for 3rd game and maybe Tippett to Valenti (assuming upgraded and plays 3 in the mid future). Looking at Gilbee when he bottoms out, but will eventaully have to trade up a couple of the cheaper backs.
