A lot of people have cheap starting centres and some decisions have to be made over who to play and who to have on the bench.

Out of likely centres people have and I have probably missed a couple but my order would probably be:

Palmer
Tuck
Morton
Houli
Bird
Bartram
Jack
Lonergan
Callan
Ebert

How would you go?

My backlines looks as such
Cornes, Shaw, Gilbee, Mattner, Symes, Gram, Nicoski
(Hartlett, S. Thompson)

Waters, Dodd, Mcphee, Birchall (who do i get) ???

EDIT- Anyone else miss the rule where a reserve can back up any player, ____ing bullshit they got rid of that.
No, it was a farcical rule and Im glad it was abolished. If i recall correctly that same season they had midfielders in the "rucks" section as well.

I ended up having 8 midfielders playing, 4 "rucks" which were essentially midfielders (I remember Coughlan and Judd being named there) and only 5 backs and forwards.

Yeh that trick was fun and a bit unfair.

Still pissed though.

this question would seem straight foward but it's doing my head in...
who more chance to play more games...Hansen or S.Thompson...

Please Kangas supporters or any1 for that fact...

I would've thought Hansen would be in front of Scotty DT in the pecking order, but who knows ?!, Laidley has a tendancy to change opinions every fortnight guarenteed...Kangas_Div would be the man to ask for that I think...:thumbsu:

Hey boys, two quick questions before lockout and am really stumped so would appreciate some answers. Firstly, i missed the Hill boat last week due to not being able to access a computer after Wednesday so i thought i would just leave it. So now I'm wondering if i should trade L.Hansen to either Hill or Gamble this week. I thought I would look at it this way, currently Hill is worth around $90,000 more than Gamble, therefore if Hill increases in cash $90,000>than how much Gamble increases, Hill is the better option. So will Hill increase by an amount a decent bit better than $90,000 over Hill. So, with this info, Gamble would basically need to miss games or have a big drop in form for it to be worth getting Hill. Sorry if that didn't make sense just typing my thoughts.

Secondly, which midfielder should i start out Bird, McNamara and Masten? For some reason im thinking one of the WCE players.

Picked up Bowden last week for the injured Drummond

Backs are -

Cornes
Shaw
Waters
Bowden

Thornton
Fisher
Birchall

S Thompson
J. Edwards

Advice? Im thinking of trading one of the ressies for a playing one. Not really keen to cop a 0 but it might be better long term hmmm.

Bowden
Cornes
Shaw

Yeah I wanted no shit from my backline this year. Got 2 injuries in Round 2, my replacements Thornton sucked first game for me, then Bowden dropped, so that sucked.

Unfortunately my cheap fwds and mids havent compensated high backline and I didnt get Cox.

Already used 3 trades. Will be getting a zero this week if I don't trade a backline player. I'm thinking I'll just take the zero.

But does anyone know if L. Hansen will be getting a game soon? He was named a couple of weeks ago and was just a late withdrawl. Anyone know what's going on with him?

Looks like its out of Pavlich and Cross for captain. Probably go with the flow and give the honour to Pavlich against the tigers.

My Backline is my weak spot this week with stupid Bowden. I have:

Bowden
Chad
H. Shaw
Waters
P Burger
Symes
Taylor

Have to go with a 0. Bugger.

Good luck tonight boys, hope you get off to a good start! :thumbsu:
