Can you believe it, I have no players playing in these two games.

Geelong -- no one. (Guns were too expensive to buy at the start of the season.)
Melbourne - only Meesen on the bench.
Kangaroos - SD Thompson on the bench.
St K - no one.

Feel your pain re Schneider, picked him up as a unique pick and he's played well especially the last 2 rounds (1st round was about 50 against Sydney)

Supposably he had a hamstring tweak or something, hopefully he's ok for next week

Got Gamble to replace him

lol, I should be following your advice - i have a legal ethics essay and trademarks exam both due early next week!! And I haven't started!

I'll start after tonight's games :p I am a bit concerned about how my midfield goes and I'm looking to upgrade in that area--but I don't think I can, because I have more pressing concerns in the forward line (capturing Brown and possibly Riewoldt as their prices fall.)

I am definitely trading out Jones soon, he handballs way too much when he gets the ball and he has to many off patches, so out he goes...Hopefully he proves me wrong and kicks three goals, but I just can't see it happening...:(

yep i fell for the Nathan Jones hype too. There should be a thread about it. I usually dont get suckered into to hyped up DT players pre-season but i did this time. Might need to switch to someone else whose team actually has a chance at winning each week.

Tough one to adjudicate on...Clarke was watching the play and looks like the unexpected shoulder must have caught him high.

I doubt he;ll go..but the contact was high so they'll definitely check it out.

Gamble tho...he;s gone. Had a brainfade with a clenched fist. Didnt hurt Dal Santo but it was a definite punch to the head. 1-2 weeks.

Radio said different. MMM said it was 15-20m off the ball, and Lyon said it was only because West was a youngster that he wouldn't call it a cowardly act.
I would strongly disagree. It was at full back and he was about 10 mtrs from the ball running in the direction of the ball carrier. West was between him and the ball. The only issues were that X was just jogging and was not looking at the ball but I would have no issues with it. Fair hip and shoulder IMO.

I stand to be corrected but would be stunned if he is cited. Gamble however, gone for sure.

Exactly.. 10 meters off the ball is classed as behind play.
Shepards are supposed to be within 5 meters of the ball carrier.

Plus the player had got rid of the ball.

That would mean every hip and shoulder given by forwards / backs before the first bounce would be cited.

I thought he got him in the shoulder but because his body was not flexed he caught the brunt of it and his neck snapped back but would need another look to be certain.

In this afternoon's games I only have two players in action:

Hayes 75 :thumbsu:
Gram 30

My two opponents this week between them have pussies galore. I have to hope that all these players are quiet:

Bartel (c) 102
Ablett (c) 102
Ling 41
Selwood 40
Gamble 38
Chapman 34
Milburn 25

So at this stage, I'd say I'm pretty pleased.
