lol no its all worked out. I got a lot of different advice but the best i got was wait till the prices salaray and Nab Cup all come out:

So to shreads with my plan of a team
lol....I've made a few really positive changes to my rough copy of my team, and can now safely say that my rough copy of my team is completed successfully...! ;)
My good copy will be completed when I'm 100% on all the prices, and if they don't change that much from what Happy_Eagle's predictions were, I'm set for a big '08 !! :thumbsu:

I'm looking forward to seeing how the Pies and Saints play on sand in Dubai. SHould be a real good test for fantasy purposes, that one...
My dad is living there so at the very least i can get a report. Will it be on tv?

I know exactly how you feel. I got burned by his teammate Matt Riggio. He played every pre season game and then 1 or 2 from memory in the season proper. He sat on my bench all year and did nothing.
Just watch out on Riggio. He could well make a big impact. Highly rated at the club and only needs his head to be in check.

Daniel Wells reminds me of Chris Judd circa 2005. People forget that Judd has only had ONE elite DT season, granted he was hurt for 2007.

One day the penny might drop for Wells, you never know.

The penny dropped fairly heavily early last year. One to look out for.

Mr.Inconsistant (Wells) isn't a good dreamteamer imo, simply because he is sooo inconsistant....Prefer others...

Wells is a player that would be better to get later in the season, or atleast after a couple of games IMO

It's just not worth the risk. What's his upside? If he averages 85 then he's had a great year... For his price tag you would be hoping for 95 minimum.

And the Judd comparison isn't that great. Judd is a one off... Comparing players to him can only lead to disaster.

Wells up until this point has been pretty inconsistant, but I'm considering him anyway, based on '07 figures:

averaged 75 over 15 games, 2 of which he was injured in mid match. Discounting those he averaged 84 in 13, including 3 hundreds (highest 123, lowest 41). So the potential is there, should be a decent selection as a 4th midfielder I reckon :thumbsu:.
