That's actually wrong. There are two ways that players get discounted. Either their price gets halved - as happened to Adcock, Brooks, McGlynn, McDougall, McConnell and Morton last year - or they use the same magic number but change the average they use to some multiple of 5, as happened to 13 other players. We haven't been able to figure out a system yet for what multiple of 5 they use. And then there were over 100 players who played between 1 and 8 games who didn't get discounted, again seemingly at random.
