At one stage today I thought I'd be lucky to even break 1700 but with Simmonds, Deledio and Bowden all having good games, I managed to get 1918 with which I'm very happy, considering I still had a number of players who performed well below their best.

Mcintosh out for Simmonds

Is this sideways, backwards or worth it??
Who knows. I was thinking the same thing while watching the score update. But then again, I avoided Simmonds for the same reason I avoided Dew, Thompson and a number of others, and look what happened this week!

I'm going to stick with McIntosh and if at the end of the season I'm wrong I can rest assured that nobody made the perfect team.

Shocker: 1710. Only seven players over 80 in a seemingly high scoring week.

Contemplating Azza Edwards down to Hill this week. If Hill can average 75 (which I expected from Azza) then I'll be OK with that trade.

Hamish will average 85-95 this season IMO. Depends how you think Simmonds will go but I reckon it's a waste of a trade even if Simmo averages similar.

Stick with McIntosh especially if he is your number 1 ruckman. Even if you have Cox it would be an advantage to keep McIntosh because at the end of the year you may very well have the two highest scoring ruckman without having needed to trade. Also laughing at those who got rid of Dyson, Wells, Deledio, Newman and rushed to get Nicoski, Thompson, Dew into their teams. Its only round 2 guys the only reasons you should need to trade are for injury, suspension or if 1 of your cash cows isnt playing and there is another like Geary, Hill or Palmer that you think will be worthwhile the trade because of the cash they make

2019 this week and I'm thinking of ONE trade this coming week -- Bradshaw to Hill. i can't justify any other trades. I haven't used any yet. Here's my team; if any of you can spot a better trade I'd like to hear it but I can't see any.

Chad Cornes, Shaw, Waters, Johncock
Symes, Ellis, Nicoski (SD Thompson, Proud)

Cross, Johnstone, Stevens, Griffen
Dyson, Palmer (Bird, Coughlan)

Cox, Simmonds (Kreuzer, Meesen)

Pavlich, Johnson, Hall, Deledio
Porplyzia, Bradshaw (Tippett, Rioli)

Of course if dyson/palmer/bird aren't named that will mess things up but I think all three should play next week and at least two of them should be playing most weeks for the rest of the season. Moreover Cogs comes back soon so that's handy. Cogs --> Tuck I think is not quite worth it if Cogs is named.

I've been pretty disappointed with Edwards as well. I would have thought that Thompson coming back would free him up a bit, but minus a 50 point last quarter last week he hasn't shown much.

Picked him because I thought he'd play a bit of a ROK role. But it seems Jones/Grant are the ones moving up the ground while Azza stays deep. He may have a couple of 100s but generally won't be great for DT if he keeps playing that deep.

Anyone watch the north richmond game i notice N Thompson got a low score did he play poorly or did he get poor delivery?
Went through the smaller forwards more. Jones/Grant/Campbell scored about 15 goals between them.

I think we suffered a bit from being too one-dimensional last week and going through Thommo all the time. We will have a bit more variety in the delivery to forwards from now on which means Thommo's DT scores could decrease.

Whos scores are more reliable, the ones on fanfooty of the ones the AFl puts on the field where they count your score for you? Up untill todays games i had a 21 point difference in the 2... 21 extra points on fanfooty...
