Not worth it. Very sideways trade and your probably switching to a player who will score less. Let your cash cows make the money and let your players on the field score the points
Agree with that. McIntosh will most likely have the second best average for a ruckman at the end of the year. Why would you trade that out?

Has anyone watched a Collingwood game this year?

Josh Fraser has frustrated me, especially when the other person i was weighing him up against is doing so well (Symmonds). Getting 20 less points per round with an extra $112,000 price tag is making me consider a trade. I probably wont but has Fraser had little TOG or something?

Even though I have to agree, I saw Hansen on the wing thought he would get a few possessions, was gonna get Harry Taylor but dunno why I didnt. Even though back to my point, I do agree but you have added no valuble opinion whatsoever about the rest of about what I said so I'd appreciate you say something useful, I already am annoyed Hansen didn't play, dont have to highlight the negativity. What did you score this week/last week mr pro dream team.
1794 last week
2008 this week

i'd probably sit tight on your rucks, unless you have a lot of money spare, or are willing to settle for having simmonds in your side all season.

hows the rest of your team shaping up? there may be other areas of more concern.

Why does everyone keep saying that?!? Has everybody missed the fact that Simmonds, a proven DTer, has outscored him in the first 2 rounds? He even outscored him today, when McIntosh would have been in the votes.

Big Mac = Simmo +or- 5 points.

How a week in football can be so long or change so much.
Dyson,Palmer,Bird,Cross,Stanton all performed really well.

whilst Dempsey,Houli,Nicoski,Waters,N.L.M,Kennely all struggled.

Unlucky for those who traded Bird,Cross,Dyson and for those who picked up Nicoski,Kennely,Dempsey,Waters

One thing that will never change and that is the big COX keeping wth him as captain all year his lowest score will probably be a 70.

im 3738 after 2 rounds is this okay??

The question is, should you fix a mistake that will only cost 1 trade and make 120k in the process or leave it as is and use the trade elsewhere. Very tough one.
I'd rather use my trades on duds that average less than 60 and cost 250K+, or on injuries. A player that will average at least 85 and only costs 350K is far from a mistake.

is hurn for thornton a good trade?
its not a terrible idea

hurn will most likely stay the same value. if he changes at all, it wont be by much, 10k either way.
with thornton looking like shooting up close to 300k, it could be an idea.
if thornton somehow maintains an average of 85 this year, you're laughing. If not, it'll just be an upgrade of hurn-gun costing 2 trades. most upgrades require a cash cow trade, then the upgrade, which is 2 trades anyway and thornton could be really handy for a few weeks.

i think i just convinced myself that its a good trade

hope this made sense

ultimately up to you though

Not sure about TOG but Wood has definitely picked up a lot more slack in the ruck and around the ground than bryan or richards ever did. Im not sure about josh, i think he may come good. For the record i went simmonds at the start of the season, but im dont think id waste a trade to get him

Hes a dud. Thats probably why hes not scoring as well. Always gets a knock of some kind. Currently Collingwood are trying to find him a new position because they finally realised that Wood is a way better ruckman than him. Will probably move forward.

if i was you i would go for Hill imstead of Gamble if you dont already have him. IMO i would choose Pavlich hes consistant and is looking at playing in the middle than pushing forward. Pav will always score an avg of 95+ where BJ could run out of legs come later rounds

My current forward line is: Pav, Brown, S. Johnson, Hall, Cloke, Porps, and Rioli with Tippett and Stewart as my reserves. I want to fit in Hill but I don't want to trade off a rookie for another and I am also not keen on downgrading a big forward for him.

That's prob why I won't trade this week.

Agree with that assessment BB, looks like a major mistake on my part to overlook Simmonds this year. Honestly thought it'd take him a while to get back into it. Don't compare Round 1 stats though, McIntosh only played half the game. Both are good acquisitions, however you look at it.

I would have thought you'd knew all about duds supporting Richmond. Clearly not.

Fraser's a gun but has been burnt out by MM ****ing him around. Giving him way too much TOG in the ruck (05-06). Not ever gonna be an elite DTer again as he'll be used as a forward more often.

It is if there is a player who will average almost the same and will cost 220k. The only real answer is that Simmonds should have been in from the start, but it is a bit late now to change that. It is not too late to fix it. One thing is for sure, if anyone is contemplating the Hamish-Simmo trade it is now or never. Not one you can wait a week or two on, and whatever decision you make by lockout this week is one made for the entire year.
