Rolled his ankle. From memory he had 49 points at half time, and scored 2 in the second half. He was on before the game last night, said he'd definitely be right for next week, certainly wouldn't be getting rid of him at this stage.
Oh ok thanks, I didn't think it was anything major, but just to be sure as some/most players after a day or two feel pretty sore...:thumbsu:
He played absolutely terrible in the second half, after coming back on, killed me ultimately as well as Stevie J, Jono Brown & Chad Cornes...But I still managed to get 1,861 with them not firing, so overall, pretty pleased with this week's efforts...

i agree 100%.
cloke is a player that you should back to be in your team for the whole year.
i am doing the same by backing deledio. no point trading them out after just 1 or 2 down games. stick with em for the long run :thumbsu:

You thinking of shipping off Cloke..? Did he sustain an injury from Friday night's game Thunder..?

No i'm keepin him.

All reports say that he should be right next week from what i've read on the pies board.

He is capable of big scores imo, just gotta wait, sat on Hall this week and came through, who knows?

live scores on the dream team site has h.shaw listed as getting 75, but on gameday live he got 84.
im assuming gameday live is the correct one, coz all his stats add up to 84.
hoping this is the case anyway. it will likely decide whether or not i get 2000

What are peoples thoughts on Salopek, he's giving me a thumpin headache.....is he really worth hanging on to?

Cloke is pssn me off to!!

Lazy 1798 today with Chapman as skipper, thought he would tear the bombers apart.......
Yeh i got both Salopek and Cloke

For Salopek he has scored 77 and 76, however there is much much better options at his price (M.Murphy etc etc). Also Salopek doesn't have a huge TOG, so he doesn't score as well as the other midfielders who stay on the ground almost the whole game.

I am still undecided if i will trade him, but if i do i will be upgrading him to anyone around 415 grand mark downwards (as i am planning on trading N.Thompson to J.Hill and gaining 70 odd grand).

As far as Cloke goes. I say leave him, because he will come good and remember not only did he get an injury, he also played in horrible conditions for a power forward, so getting 51 isn't that bad. Next week expect him to pull a big number :thumbsu:.

Does anyone else here have van Berlo?
Bought Reilly for DT (who I have since had to trade) and vB for SC. Scored 100 in SC despite the sluggish DT numbers, so his disposal can't be questioned. Don't think he's much of an acculumator, but he should be pretty consistant throughout the year :thumbsu:.

yep; VB ain't an accumulator; he does well each week - usually comes in around the 20 possession mark. had an unusally poor performance last week, but that just could've been because Minson decked him behind play. This week he was solid, but not standout, and scored about 70. i reckon that's where he'll probably score around ... 70s-80s... but i reckon he'll be consistent.
still a gun, but not a DT gun.

Yeah after seeing him in the first two rounds I'd say he's more suited to SC than DT.

IMO he's been pretty disappointing so far. Scores of 49 (although he was injured) and 71 don't really fill me with confidence. I thought he'd be a monty for a 10-15 point increase on last year but I'm not so sure now.

It's very early in the year, but I'm thinking of offloading him for someone better around his price.

Do pepole think that getting rid of him for a Murphy or Johnstone would be a bad idea?

Cat fans; how many games will gamble play. i cant think of any more forwards to come back into that geelong side

and how long will kurt tippet be out for
Tippett... looks like it could just be a jarred knee (from today's recovery session)... might play this week; just wait till the teams are named on Thursday.

VB's never been one to rack up the possessions, but his possessions are all quality. :thumbsu: he's one of my favourite players, but i didn't pick him in my team because of this.

I think the kid is real chance to play most of the season if he keeps performing the way he has.
Should play most of the year. Only thing I can see stopping him is when Egan comes back, Milburn may be pushed forward like he was last year. Also Bomber may go with 3 rucks, with them rotating up forward.

There is nothing wrong with that team at all, you've just been hit by lots of mediocre scores all in the same round. It happens, last week I got 1496, the same team scored 1818 this week. Problem is now you'll be looking for replacements for Dew and possibly Drummond, which may eat up trades you didn't want to be using this early.

Is anyone else looking at not doing any trades this week?

I'm confident with nearly all my players and there is really nothing i can do to upgrade my rookies until my cash cows gain value, the only trade I would possibly do is drummond if he has a LTI

Same thing happened to me, I scored 1604 the first week, but with no trades or anything that same team scored 2004 this week. Seems that all the teams that did well week 1 didn't go quite so well were as the teams that went bad the first week are doint well now....

I'm the same except the lure of Hill is too much for me.

Will probably end up trading Hansen for him. Other than that my team is solid. Didn't trade last week either.

Yeah same mate, there isnt much i can do, and am fairly happy with the team. Only thing may be to trade Mcnamara out but Bird and Ebert are doing very well as replacments, so im not to concerned. Was going to trade Macnamra for Dempsey last week.. Lucky i didnt . .
