No I’m not getting ahead of myself - I appreciate this isn’t realistic in the leagues current format.
However, with the introduction of Tassie, an NT side, and potentially 2 others in the next 10-15 years, could we see this unfold eventually?
American sports such as NBA and hockey seem to do this already, and we had a brief taste of it during Covid, albeit with shorter quarters.
Is this an inevitability, or will the AFL cram games into the weekend.. could almost bring back the need for ‘if you don’t want to know the score, look away now’ if they do so.
