The Gamesmen in NSW has 3rd of April aswell.

The Gamesmen website also says the 3rd and sent an email out saying it was being shipped to customers on the 2nd

So if we enjoy a game it's not because the game was good but because we've been brainwashed? Rightio.

I still play it to this day, my PS3 is still set up in my living room for purely for Gran Turismo and AFL Live. It absolutely wasn't perfect and I posted as such on here when it was current, but it's the best AFL game I've ever played.

I guess in a way you're right. An excellent way of convincing people a game is good is to make it enjoyable. Now you've got me doubting if Spider-Man was any good or if Insomniac just convinced me it was...

Some peoples perceptions of AFL Live were influenced by the active role that Ross had on these forums.

Apparently digital is set in stone for the 16th but hopefully that changes cause i hate physical

A bit late now it seems to pre order it and get it on the 3rd if you haven't already. I believe they said you cant buy in store and it was either delivery or online only.

After 11 years of developing footy games that don't have the core gameplay as good as a composite football game developed 9 years ago, you start to doubt them. I mean, I'll pick it up and see how it feels for myself, but there's some dead give away signs they haven't fixed certain flaws.

I like AFL Live a lot, it’s got a nice core engine and is very satisfying, holds up well, but also, Y’know, that was 2010/11, so it’s relative to that period, it doesn’t have the menu of features available now. Evolution was very promising, so am excited to give this a go! The only game I couldn’t get into was AFL Live 2, which just seemed unfinished and the ball physics were a bit choppy.

it’d be nice to get AFL Live remastered.

Unfortunately, it's not that easy. Platform holders require a number of days (usually 10 business days) in advance prior to any store/date changes. Retail is going to be your best bet.

you can only pick up in store if you pre ordered before 25th March. Otherwise it’s mail order or digital download.

I was planning on getting digital due to the covid bs as I'm asthmatic. Annoying!
