Plenty of examples in the kicking tutorial of players making space on their direct opponent, 2v1s, etc, even at ball up clearance situations.

Yep, I saw a 4 on 2 aswell. It does look more like football spacing.

There was one mark where the player just slid around from the side to the back to mark the ball front on, they need to add more marking animations specifically coming in from the side across a pack.

Other than that really promising what I've seen so far.

I feel like they overestimate how consistently long/straight and hard to pull off torpedos actually are. I know it's a video game, but every AFL game does it.

I still maintain that no AFL game has matched the satisfaction of the dedicated shirtfront button (and how effective AND hilarious it was) from AFL 99

AFL 98 or 99 on PC had fights! but the camera would pan away and you could only hear it

Very curious to see the marking video tomorrow, the few glimpses we got of it in the kicking tutorial looked the same as Evo 1 at least in terms of animations, but there’s clearly something new going on in terms of mechanics/controls
