Lol

I've been reading the AFL 23 thread from release and even on day one there's posters suggesting it's still better than the Evo games. I've only watched the YouTubes but I've seen no evidence to support that at all.

Where did Wicked Witch touch them?

I put it down to fatigue from the Wicked Witch games and still not willing to let AFL Live go.

But at the same time, It has the potential to beat out the Evo games. Whether it will....... Eh, Time will tell.... It's certainly very rough from all angles right now...

IMO it's better, that being said I've never really been a management kinda person, just depends on what you want

Keen to see what happens first, Quiv unlocks this achievement, or AFL 23 is fixed.
I'd put a bet on Quiv here. Even if Big Ant announce that the game will be fixed tomorrow as they've managed to fix everything while we weren't looking, He'll do an all-nighter just to unlock it just so he can say he did it before they could fix it. XD

I have a feeling he went back and deleted some stuff too once it started getting called out. Either that or the mods were pre emptive to stop people quoting him.

Playing Evolution 2, the second quarter went for 41+ minutes!!!! And I'm not even playing on real time quarters lol just before 6pm - and finished at 6:42. 20 goals, 6 behinds were scored (that's a lot of cutscenes haha).

Returned and have been playing the game a lot more over the last 2 weeks. Had a belter of a game before, fought back multiple times and gradually overpowered the Magpies.

Have had other similar matches, let the AI get a 20+ goal head start and gradually erased the margin and would win by 5-10+ goals :p

Will eventually do my patented full length quarters match and see if I've still got the mojo to hold a team scoreless and aim for 1000+ points :p

Blast from the past from my Facebook memories, the AFL's press release for this game.

Good times. Glad I didn't trade in my Xbox version back in April :straining:

“AFL Evolution 2 will build upon the success of its predecessor, giving footy fans an enhanced AFL video game experience when it’s released in the first half of 2019,” Ms Rogers said.

“Digital platforms give our fans another way to deepen their engagement with the game alongside their involvement playing, watching or officiating.
“Tru Blu Entertainment and Wicked Witch Software have worked tirelessly over the past three and a half years to put in place a great foundation for future video game releases,” she said.

AFL Players Association General Manager – Commercial, Marketing and Communications, Rebecca Chitty said the players were thrilled to deliver this exciting product to the fans.

You mean spare player in defense?
Well it has a few different options. Spare in defense, spare around the ball, tagger etc. I've never noticed any difference onfield though.
