Anyone tried to focus on the commentary? Is it still absolutely shit?

I'm on the edge here, want to give it a go but still have doubts of a game as dynamic as the AFL with so many variables working on a console.

Will wait for reviews but if anyone here gets it please update. I wonder if it will be like FIFA and everyone plays the best team? I'll only play Richmond because they're my team, but don't wanna vs Richmond every other match.

Love the time cycle addition, looks great.

Watcing the stream. Positioning looks way improved, spare defenders, option to match up to go 7 on 7, players setting up for switches, players arent as locked in to positions. Im punching myself in the head I didn't pre-order.

Hopefully those through sliders are back.

Hard to hear. From what I’ve heard Huddo sounds good, but I haven’t heard much.

Marking completely re-done. No longer timing-based. Based on positioning, stats and tactic choices... which does sound heaps better. Major complaint with the last game was how unintuitive the marking was.

Apparently player ratings matter a lot more.

Positions reduced to 7 categories (ruckman, key fwds, key backs etc). None of that left back pocket shiiiiiiiiiit

The commentary seems pretty good, no hands like dinnerplates and apparently the commentry is more exicting in a close late game

Love the niggle after kicking a goal. They've clearly made an effort to fix the commentary, but Huddo sounds way too excited for far too long (even for him). Overall pretty excited though.

Being able to interchange and even swap players positions on the fly is great.
