The positions seen on the ratings video are just where they are on the field. The actual player position are key fwd, general fwd, mid-fwd ect.

If what Dean has said that player ratings can be updated on the fly and not through patches is correct which I'm sure it is I reckon we could se a ratings change in the first few weeks too

Looks like I've somehow missed the boat for shipping with JB. If I have to wait until Monday to play AFL Evolution I will have an aneurysm.

Ratings are the easiest thing to fix, literally the least of my concerns with this game.

Probably why they haven't updated them in a while. Much more important things to worry about than changing a 60 to a 70 or whatever they'll get the work experience kid to do.

Who is Jake Pasini and why is he rated higher than Dan Houston for Port?

Pick 8 in the 2019 Rookie Draft, believe me I’m just as perplexed as you are. Also Duursma being a 69 rating is strange given he played 20 games and was pretty solid last year in his debut.
