I vaguely remember tossing the first game after I went into the first draft with a bevy of picks and found out that every potential recruit, including ruck men were 173cms tall lol.

Also concerned that yet again, draft picks are assigned an ‘overall’ as a value for trade AI, and that pick 1 is only 72 overall.

Surely this doesn’t mean you could offer like a 77 overall player for pick 1? IMO it’s even unrealistic for a player about 86-87 overall to be worth pick 1.

Can potentials overall change based on form injury etc ?

I'll never forget playing in the rain just prior to the first patch of Evolution (where they made it not as graphically intensive if that makes sense ?) seeing it pelt down constantly, it left rain effects in other sports games I've played in the past (Fifa, Madden, various F1 games from the early 2000's - onward) for dead. It looked super realistic and I also enjoyed the rain spots/blotches on the game camera - just like on normal tv.

I'm slightly concerned about the marking system in Evolution 2. I listened to the stream earlier in the day when they talked about how it worked and what to do. I was one of the few that had no major issues with how it worked in Evolution 1. I basically ignored the instructions (in game) with how to do it and figured out the proper timing on my own. As following the instructions made me stuff it up 99% of the time. Also how they talked about "player positioning" being the difference between winning/losing a marking contest. There were many times in Evolution 1 where I had the superior position for the mark and yet still lost the contest. That said I won most of the marking contests after I mastered how to do it on my own....... there were a few wonky moments though.

I see that they haven't added many goal or after match celebration animations in addition to the older basic ones. So they'll get old fast.
