I'll investigate tonight and see how far away from the 50m line I can be where the set shot is still selectable after a mark. That's just one of a few more achievements I am aiming for. Won't be winning the brownlow any time soon as I keep getting suspended (love my late bumps haha).

Hooray for bugs and glitches then . I won the VFL equivalent JJ Liston medal in my first season. Became a better player in my second year (20 disposals at a minimum 62 being my highest. 5 goals to 18 goals each match), got rubbed out...... didn't win it (but did win the Norm Smith on grand final day). AFL Season year 2 I've been rubbed out twice and near the end of the season. I blitz the disposal count and goal kicking count... still probably won't win glitched or otherwise haha.

I went pretty godmode.

Soon as I kicked the last goal, it ended immediately, without even going back to ruck. Must be a pretty efficient system.

He was probably quitting as you streamed into 50. Happens to me almost every game.

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has figured out how to time a mark correctly?
I still to this day cant time them right or get in the correct position to mark in (contested marking).

I know you need to hold Y/Triangle down until the white circle becomes solid, but still nothing!
What am I doing wrong? lol

Even if you time it right you can still lose out to being in inferior position, or less stats and size. Are you failing to mark but still getting the feedback on your attempts?

I recommend pressing the Y/Triangle just before the white circle turns solid, not holding the button. It completely contradicts what the manual says but it's worked a treat for me and others on this forum.

I'm sure its been said here already, but the no.1 fix thats required is the close up camera on kick-ins. How did they think this would work? You are essentially blind if you play on

Multiple JB's near me are taking pre-orders as they're still sold out and there are no pre-owned copies on shelves.

It's also still sold out at EB with no returned copies nor pre-owned copies in sight.

I can't shill a youtube channel, podcast or website with a review , but for me the game is easily a 7/10 experience. It does a good job of capturing AFL matches in video game form. Would have been a perfect 10 if not for some concerns over the graphics, audio (commentary is awful lol) and the bugs present in the game.

Picked the game up this afternoon, played a quick game on beginner and smacked the Roos
Upped it up to medium and starting a coach career, beat the Demons in the first JLT match 139-88. Gonna give medium a bit more of a feel out, is there a huge gap between medium and hard?
I'm loving it so far, the last AFL game I played was back in 2005 so as you can imagine for me it's just great to have an AFL game, period.

I have been doing a lot of free roaming before playing games, my biggest problem so far is marking, still can't figure it out, even if you time it well it doesn't come off.

I think it should be easier to take a mark...

it would make the game so much better..
