Trying out Career mode as a created player. I'm a 188cm RHF. I just roved a ruck contest in the forward line and snapped it and kicked a goal. Man, that looked sweet.

Ok so my thoughts are that wicked witch have actually had a decent crack at this game with a relatively small budget , the game looks really slick. Gameplay has improved ten folds from
Live 2 but it's still
A big issue. The long ass handballs and constant bobbing around of the ball isn't very realistic , but hey it's a pass for me , think they have huge room for improve ment tho but it isn't

So is the career mode literally just putting you into a team... or do you have to get drafted?

With the be a pro whats the best quarters to play ? is 5mins enough to get some decent stats up as a mid ?

Also can you change the difficulty later or should i start it on hard ?

You can change it, quarter length too. 5 mins will get realistic scores but if there was a 7.5 minute quarter option it would be perfect imo

I'm playing as a forward and I reckon 10-15 mins would be best. Don't know about midfield, but maybe 10?

I went straight to AFL. If you start in TAC or VFL maybe you get drafted?

I heard somewhere that there is no draft in Be a Pro mode, you just get AFL contract offers. Bloody dumb if that's true.

I can't see a mention of a draft so I guess not. Disappointing.

Yeah, this was confirmed in the last thread. You just get contract offers.

Online play is a hell of a lot easier than single player, I think having two guys not knowing how to mark evens it up

I've always played 10mins quarters on afl games you mostly get proper stats and scores

Be-A-Pro on Hard mode is extremely realistic.

FF for Sydney and can't get a touch because the midfield and defence are turning it over with every touch.

casboult can kick straight in this game,

messed around on easy, 11 goals with him, and 31 disposals for alex silvagni,
solid learning curve, rather enjoyable game, will start a season properly soon.

The amount that the AI taps the ball along the ground is ridiculous.

Not enjoying it at all, trying to, but it'll be a 7 day return at this stage.

Ok, this game has a lot going for it.

It's not a tackle fest, Im missing shots, Ive strung together some nice plays. There are some rough edges, but Im keen to see how much better it gets with realistic player edits.

Trying to play a character I created as an unlisted player in the VFL (trying to get listed) but can't seem to work out how to pick a character I already created in the fan hub creator.

Probably stupidly simple to do but I can't for the life of me do it. Anyone?
