Which camera angle are you using? I've tampered with all but I prefer Side Dynamic (Far zoom) the best.

Well I've not seen it in any other game I've played on the same tv :P. I know AFL Live had small text in their score graphics too but at least they weren't chopped off. I've read others complain about it as well so I thought it was bad programming not to have a screen size adjustment setting some games do.

Odd thing is the on screen graphics are not chopped off when watching dvr recordings of the game.

Was talking to a mate about how unnatural the marking system is yesterday (we both know how to do it, it just still feels wrong). On top of the obvious things like having to push the button far too early, and the game turning into a kick and mark-fest, he mentioned something I hadn't really considered and that's how every mark attempt is a mark to someone involved. Either you mark it, or the AI marks it, but it never spills unless spoiled. Everyone has superglue hands and can take diving marks from 5m away. In sort of a rock paper scissors way, if both people trying to mark get the same timing maybe it should be a stalemate and the ball should spill.

AFL Lives text was tiny but I put up with that too (until the pc release when it was easier to see being closer to the screen). Just found it odd for this game to cut the text off screen, other people complain of the same thing on different forums. We all must have bad tvs!

Don't know why the graphics are as they should be on my own and other peoples xbox videos when watching them on the same tv.

Will check resolution settings tonight, from memory its on 16:9

I had my first season ruining bug last night, got reported and thus I kept playing the 4th quarter. It boggles my mind because I was reported late in my first vfl season last week and it didn't error out.

I've had the game ball switch from yellow to red or red to yellow mid match (both day and night games twilight too).

I've kicked goals as players in game, but an entirely different player kicks the goal on the replay.

Doesn't really ruin my enjoyment overall.

Wish I had that. Half the time it feels like I'm trying to mark a bar of soap.

Completely disagree

This is probably the first AFL game that has had a realistic marking system where timing is just as important as positioning (as it is in reality)

There's a decent portion of this gameplay that people complain about being bad which I think is just because we've become so used to the same basic mechanics for AFL games
 
So I won the Brownlow in my debut year despite being suspended

Yeah I drop marks all the time. Even uncontested marks.

Nothing will satisfy you lot will it? The game hasn't even been out for 2 weeks and people go in on it relentlessly as if it was gonna be to a higher standard.... it gets better the deeper you dig into its difficulty, control schemes and timing/positioning.
 
Im enjoying it, it can get better tho, but ive got the lads around this weekend for our first real multiplayer session in person, so i reckon thats gunna be a good night

Im looking forward to a patch to fix some things

Any knowledge of when thats due?

Nice – awesome watching a couple of quality players go at it. That first kick-in move from the purple team was crazy, play on and then spin around the full-back before booting it... he got from goalsquare to goalsquare in two kicks.

I like how the guy playing as the Pies won though, simply for the fact he was playing against a souped-up custom team

Agreed, as I mentioned earlier the video tipped me into purchasing. Game had structure, tackling was good, ball movement and running patterns excellent.

Say for someone like me, online I am Div 2 on Fifa which is super tough. Would I pick it up ok? I won't go online until I can actually play the game well and build a record.
