Thanks BRAB

Wow mixed bag for Freo even among the scanned players some like Fyfe, Mundy. Neale well off while S.Hill, Sandilands and Johnson look fantastic.

Zac Clarke also misses it by just a tad and its not just the skin Colour.

Still even the worst ones are good enough for me by the time they're a few cm's tall and running about the field and if someone can tweak them via the fanhub better again.

Mini Review...

Menu's are well laid out and responsive, and i like the scrolling image effect when you have a menu item selected, but it lacks a little polish and cohesiveness and 'flair'. Feels a bit old school, visually and structurally it's taken a lot from games like FIFA but also removed some of the cool gradients and texture they use to make it feel new.

The music, thank god for some decent tunes!

So far I'm pleasantly surprised tbh...

In saying that, it ALLLLLLL comes down to gameplay. If the AI is terrible then single player will be boring and unplayable, and if the core game isn't fun and rewarding it'll be very hard to enjoy online giving this game a very short shelf life. AFL Live 1 was terrible in many ways, but it was fun as hell online, and that has given it a cult following.

Looking forward to the full game!

how do you know that some players couldn't get it done and that circumstances meant not everyone could do it...

surely that's an obvious assessment that one can make...

you're answer is not everyone could do it..

simple stuff, same thing happened in NBA2k...(with their massive budget)..

get a grip.

I'm fine with player ratings being all over the place, it's always a problem for sports games. I didn't really expect them to nail it any way, they're video game programers not AFL analysts. I think it will be up to the community to work on creating player ratings, hopefully they consider this when working on the player ratings for the next game, or when they do the roster updates.

To be honest man, the face scans are really good overall. Even FIFA and 2K have some really bad ones, and they'll add more as the future versions come out.

And besides, you won't be really able to tell on the field anyway.

They have had roughly 4 years to at least model players correctly without face scans, even with their smaller budget, this allows them enough time to create a detailed version of that player using their tools
