Not too sure if too many people are keen on this game on this board but if there are I guess the thread will be good if not I guess itl die quickly.

Anyways was just wondering what everyone is looking forward to, what should be in the game and what should the Carlton players be rated in the game!

For example I'll give a top 10 based on P. Dangerfield being rated a 95

Surprised Cripps isn't our number 1. Although these games overall rating dont mean as much as the ratings for their specific skills that serve their roles in the team. I.e. Cripps better be one of the top 3 clearance players.... Wouldn't expect to get much love in this game as a Carlton supporter. When's it released?

No release date as of yet, but expected in the first half of 17. So next couple of months i think.

What stats would you include? And if so would they be categorised by "Skill, Physical, Mental"

Also what kind of positions, cause i think these days inside/outside mid is a lot more descriptive than ruck rover, rover ect.

Haven't looked at the game, have they not released that sort of thing? I think Mental is hard in a game. Imagine getting the ball out the back to Kerridge and having him drop it cold every time because his mental rating was weak... Fuhk that would be frustrating.

Nah theres been next to no information posted about the game apart from the cover.

I guess it would go Skills:

Kick accuracy, distance and penetration, goal kick, set shot, goal kick banana, goal kick snap and dribble, as well as ball to foot speed

Handball (see above apart from the goal ones)

Mark, pack and 1 on 1

Ball Pick up, receiving the ball.

Evasive skills such as spin, dont argue, hands free. (these would be compounded by physical stats)

Tacking, Bump

Mental:

Offensive positioning, Defensive positioning

Consistency, composure, vision by hand, vision by foot.

Physical:

Speed, acceleration, agility, balance

Upper body strength, core strength, ariel strength

Injury

If only you could modify players in real life, as I think Ed would really flourish as a 205cm 110kg behemoth with elite kicking skills and pace.

We could really use the software on the current list: Give Cripps some more speed, Casboult a better kick, age Macreadie 3 or 4 years.
