Grundy Gibson hooker far too high
Hurley was better than hooker pre ban so needs bump up
Lever very good much higher
Kaiden brand will play plenty for hawks he is around the 72 players
Trengove around frawleys level needs solid bump up
Carlisle, barrass, hartley all slightly higher than players around them
Hamling slightly lower

I have an issue with Hurley being 86 with a year out of the game and Robbie Tarrant being below him when he was unlucky to not be All-Australian. Rance isnt that clear above the rest. Tarrant and McDonald should be higher.
Hooker will be playing as a key forward next year and there are quite a few other players that you mentioned that are not key defenders.
Above ben reid so yeh 85
Rance's current form is as good as any defender ever. 92 spot on
Rance plays as an entire back 6 for Richmond and is easily the best KD in the league.

Bachar Houli had 25 touches a game as a running defender...I get they're not the premier back 6 in the AFL but 92 just is at a level of superstardom that I dont think Rance is at. He makes some shocking decisions.
So does danger buddy and fyfe but look at their ratings

Thanks for all the input guys. I've made some changes, take a look to see if there are anymore needed.
Harry Marsh should at least be alongside Claye Beams.

Updated Marsh on the DEF/MID list. We will roll onto the Medium Defenders now. Still feel free to suggest changes to previous categories. Remember the aim at this stage is to order them from best to worst.

Apart from bottom placed dons and freo games Boyds last 10 games werent very impressive and he was the most surprising AA inclusion, and 9th in b&f, cant see him ahead of hodge or burgoyne who were teriffic in last few weeks when finally fit (well burgoyne was great all season he is at least equal to hodge at 87)

Danger and Fyfe have higher disposal efficiency percentages than Rance. Buddy's bad decisions are having shots on horrid angles, other than that he played very well up the ground this year I thought.

Hodge and Burgoyne should be 1st and 2nd. Rounded out the top 5 should be Simpson, Varcoe and Laird.
Why the bulldogs so far higher? Rampe, wood, stratton are above both and in their peak (why bob murphy not getting the 'obligatory' 3 grade bump after injury like rough and the don players?). Birchall agree no longer elite but he is no B grader, needs a bump. Howe played well in a top 8 side at end of season he is ahead of hampton and smedts

Tyson Goldsack 5 points above Brayden Maynard? You put a player who played 4 games above one who played 20? Maynard getting more touches I might add. Do you actually watch some teams play? Some of these ratings really have me shaking my head. Dane Rampe should be at the top of this list also.

That's why i'm asking for all the help. Its harder than you think to compile over 700 players ratings and make it so they all are perfect. That is why we are going through this process.

I'll make the early changes you suggest. I will put murphy down one as he actually played early in 2016 with excellent form. Roughead has had cancer, not being able to train at all, proabably on chemotherapy which takes a hit to the body. Roughy will never be the same player again as sad as it is. The Bombers players were away from their club for 12 months, and I didn't take much off them anyway.

Be honest, it comes down to your opinion. If you actually looked at stats, these lists would look totally different. How do you think the developers at WW would do it? They wouldnt sit there and debate whos better, theyre watching game footage and looking at real statistics.
