Now rate them all on each category.

I think the real hard part will be to rate each players individual attributes eg. goal kicking, marking, spoiling etc.
Although the overall rating number you come up with is somewhat useful, having a player with a lower overall rating will still be able to beat a player with a higher overall rating if they have superior attributes ie. a forward could outmark a defender if they have higher marking and jumping compared to the defenders spoiling stat. Will need more than one person to get all that work done..

From a St Kilda perspective I would suggest the following.

Jack Steele should be ranked higher than 72. I believe he is a 77 player.

Seb Ross should also be ranked higher than 79 and should be 81.

Sam Gilbert should be 76. 80 is way too high.

I really hope there's player development in this game, so they actually improve from like a 72. Haven't seen any potential slider though so not looking good

Parfitt and Parsons should be on top of Geelongs youth, so at least ahead of Cunico just shy of 70. They've actually been getting games for one and delivering reasonably well for two.

keep the suggestions coming! Also does anyone know how to download the fanhub on an Apple Mac? Because it would be good if I could change the rating for each player by changing their attributes before release of the full game.

I thought you were doing that already, so you've just given what you think their overalls should be? Don't think you can get it on mac unless you have Windows on it

Suban should be negative 50 billion.
I do like Alex Pearce being put up a decent amount, insane he is 65.
From a quick look at the Freo players, I think it's good effort.

Would be absolutely crazy if they didn't have player development.

Just providing a different look and angle at what each player should be rated (I now have to change my Hawthorn and Sydney ratings)

No your not, your just copying my ratings and doing some unusual changes like dropping McDonald down to 81. The thing that makes doing the ratings difficult is making sure that there is consistency between the ratings for each team. The only way to do it accurately is to have smaller lists of players in order and then slowly combine them into 1 long list. This is so player A that is slightly better than player B is actually assigned a better rating 100% of the time. As an example you've now got Jeff Garlett rated 78 whereas Hayden Ballantyne is rated 79 even though Garlett is clearly the better player

I have created these ratings from scratch and some players are *stat based* ie Tom McDonald because I have not seen enough of his play, so I take from his 2016-17 stats and compare to other players of the same position and then rate. However, a player such as Lachie Weller would have had a 74-75 rating according to stats but I have seen enough of him to know to put him up. Compare him to Ed Langdon. So far in 2017, they have similar stats, however, I have seen lachie Weller perform better because Ed Langdon is one of those players who can gather 20 touches without you knowing. So basically what Im trying to say is the player gets a bump up for being 'Important' to his team.
