With the Franklin v Kennedy debate, I personally think Franklin should be rated higher. He is the best overall player now, and always has been. With ratings in general, you can't base a rating purely on recent form. A rating is something that builds slowly throughout a career and drops slowly as the players peak form passes.

For example, Ivan Maric currently plays like he is rated 68. However, since 1.5 years ago people would rate him in the 80s, you can't just plummet him down to what his form suggests. Same with Franklin, in 2008 he would be the highest rated player in the game (94), but just because his current form may not reach 93 doesn't mean you rate him that way.

Best young any position doesnt make them 86 nor have we seen any evidence of sandy past his best as he's been injured, wouldnt be surprised if grundy plays to an 86 this year tho

I agree that is why I had Grundy at 85 before. The only reason I put him up is because lots of people were saying he was too low. But I think I will put him back to 85.

No, shouldn't be rated higher at all. Ratings are generally weighted on more recent seasons - Buddy had a write off in 2015 which will negatively affect his ratings, whereas Kennedy won a Coleman. Yes he's a better player overall and has had a better career, but right now would you rate him higher? I think it's a massive stretch to have him rated higher.

I doubt there will be an attribute for mental health.

They can't be compared as the same type of player. Kennedy is the best pure forward but Buddy is a better all round player.

The problem is all players are unique, what me putting them into 11 categories does is make it easier to compare similar player types. Sure Kennedy and Franklin may not be similar types of key forwards but they are more similar to each other then comparing one of them to a winger, Small defender or Tall Midfielder, etc.

Yes but you are basing Daniher being better then Cloke and Waite on recent form without taking into account 2015 or even early 2016 for Waite. In the first third of the season some were saying Waite was the best in form key forward in the AFL. Cloke is in bad form but that doesn't mean his rating is completely based on his bad form. Same goes with Petrie. I will put Moore up one, Vickery down one.

Moore I can agree on. Was more thinking that he deserves a better rating than Petrie.

You have to take into account his GF from wasn't his average form. You can't just boost a player up 4 ratings based on 4 excellent games. Where do you think Hawkins should go. Below Cameron or Below Gunston?

Below Cameron and level with Gunston. So we're taking in account 2015 but not the most recent played game of AFL? Boyd had a coming out game that Daniher certainly hasnt had.

Got dropped and had MORE of an impact in his games played than Daniher did lol if you cant argue with facts, dont argue. Not happening, the pogo stick cant kick straight from 15 metres out. Hes 80 tops in the game, even thats generous.
