I don't agree that Priddis and Petrie should be as low as you suggest. What do others think

85 is still a grade, 89 tho is just below guys like ablett and west coast kennedy - he is not that close to those 2

Id take liberatore and easton wood above him yet you have them lower. Smashed the bottom teams yes otherwise not as damaging

I've put Priddis down to 87, but I just don't see him being level with Liberatore (86) and definitely not Wood.

What's the mathematical formula for these ratings? I'm assuming it's not too similar to Fifa because there are only 2-3 players rated above 90 in that game. How is potential ability evaluated?
Based on what I've gauged so far, I'll try to provide input although it's hard to pick precise values at the moment:
Stringer should be higher- 86-88 range
Fletcher Roberts should be higher- 77+
Marcus Adams should be lowered to a similar level as Roberts
Clay Smith should be at least 80
Bigs- 77 range
Cloke- probably a bit lower, but hard to say
Shuey should be a little lower
Jetta should be a 79
Hurn should be higher- 85~
Petrie should be lower than 78, had an awful season and turning 35.
Vardy should also be a little lower
Zak Jones should be higher than 73- late 70s range.
Aliir a bit too high
Sloane and Betts shouldn't be in the 90s.

Hannebery at 90 is absolutely too high. There's no way a puffing billy type like him should be higher than Sam Mitchell, who's better than him in every way outside of running capacity.

Most games (fifa, rugby challenge, rugby league live, nba 2k) have top 10 at 90+ and top 50 around 85 or 86+
Madden and baseball games different because the ratings are based on positions where that obviously isnt applicable to aussie rules or soccer or basketball. But yeh people just dont like hearing a player isnt a 90.
85 is still an excellent score for guys not really all australian
75 to 80 is around the midway point for players on senior list

Yeah, I wouldn't have anyone above 94, but I would have at least a few at 90-91.

Its really a matter of opinion. I had Sloane at 89 originally but someone suggested he was higher. It doesn't matter too much if a player is one rating off. The main point of me doing this is to prevent ridiculous ratings such as Brent MaCaffer being rated 87 and Sam Jacobs 93. There were many more but this is just off the top of my head. Eddie Betts being rated 91 is not ridiculous considering he scored 75 goals as a forward pocket this year, not to mention his freakish goal scoring ability.
In order to get the ratings as accurate as possible between teams. I have been adding all players into excel, to sort them into positions and ratings. I will do a bit of tweaking and post it.
