I am sorry but what you've posted makes things very confusing. These are the sort of ridiculous ratings I've been talking about and am trying to avoid.
Rampe is way lower than an 88,
Heath Grundy is not an 89
Mills is not better than Jack yet, potential is different to current ability.
McVeigh is better than Naismith
Rohan is higher then a 75
Heeney is not an 85, he is a young player still building.
An then also your no names such as Murray, Dawson, Newman, O'Riordan, Hayward and Leonardis are all way too high.

There is no point posting completely different player ratings. The aim of this thread is to work together on the current ratings I have posted to get them right. I will be sorting all the players on excel by team and position with their current ratings to make tweaking them around a bit easier.

I'd argue Isaac Heeney COULD be an 83-85 but not any higher. He's got all the tangibles to be a superstar but isn't there just yet. I'd sit him on 83 if it was my decision.

While he did do his ratings differently...

Some of those players aren't "no names." I think Will Hayward will turn out to be one of the better players from this draft.

Eddie Betts being rated 91 is not ridiculous considering he scored 75 goals as a forward pocket this year, not to mention his freakish goal scoring ability.
You can have freakish goalscoring ability without an overall that reflects being elite in nearly every area of the game. Again, I don't know the formulas or the individual statistics, but Betts is a player who seems like he should be one of the best small forwards, not someone with an overall higher than Sam Mitchell, who's better than him in just about every area outside of pace and goalscoring ability.

If you go on The real AFL alliance on face book you will see all club ratings from the start of the year of 2016 and the pre season ratings of 2017 a big difference in players and teams.

We have finally reached stage 2 of our AFL Evolution Player Ratings dissection.
Now we will rank players by position. This will make rating the players easier as we are comparing players who are similar. Then in stage 3 we will have 11 player type lists ranked in order from best to worst where we can keep comparing the top player for each type. This will give us the most accurate ratings for all players.

Firstly, for stage 2, all Players have been assigned one of the following positions.

KF- Key Forward >191cm
SF- Small Forward <186cm
MF- Medium Forward >186cm
FWD/MID- Forward Midfielder Forward who rotates into midfield frequently or vice versa
TMID- Tall Mid >187cm
MID- Midfielder <187cm
RUC- Ruckman
DEF/MID- Defender Midfielder Defender who rotates into midfield frequently or vice versa
MD- Medium Defender >187cm
SD- Small Defender <187cm
KD- Key Defender >191cm

I will post the Ruckman shortly, your job is to decide if the ruckman are ordered from best to worst or if changes are needed (expecting them). Ratings are not important for now just the order from best to worst. Final Ratings will be assigned after stage 3 when all player types have been combined to create 1 long list.

Roughead, Ceglar, Hickey and Lobb should be rated higher than McEvoy and Luenberger. Top 5 should be Gawn, Goldstein, Mumford, Grundy and Natanui
Leuenberger should be higher than Hickey imo, but I agree with the rest of what you're saying. I might have Nic Nat ahead of Grundy, but they are very close regardless.
