Just perusing the AFL website when I noticed their (bi)annual(?) fan survey which can be found here;
http://www.afl.com.au/news/2015-05-27/the-voice-of-the-people-let-us-know-what-you-think

It's okay, I suppose. Choice of responses don't seem quite as narrow as previous years but still not accurate enough either. There was one question on there I found curious, something along the lines of "would you get a club tattoo" or some such BS.

Seems like they're looking for excuses to speed the game up even more. Less stoppages etc so those with short attention spans can enjoy the game more. Meanwhile, they continue to restrict interchanges etc. Anyone see a problem with this?

AFL are run by Idiots?

'What do you least like about the game' and give 4 responses, 3 of which are the same option. Quality effort.
Best one was (or close to it) "Would you like to see...."
A. One sub
B. Two subs
C. Three subs
D. no subs but only three interchange

Hey presto Fat Vlad tells us we all wanted one sub!!!:mad:

A good survey is a skill, unfortunately Fatboy Andy designed them so he always got what he wanted.

What was the go with the Dangerfield questions? What on earth do the AFL need that data for? Stranger still was that the options were limited to Collingwood, Fremantle, Geelong, Hawthorn, Sydney or other (if he decides to leave that is). Very curious.

Probably to see how much the average supporter a) keeps in touch with this stuff during a season and b) if they believe the media reports.

Yep, its very easy for them to design a survey to tell them exactly what they want to hear... and they've done it again this time.

Meanwhile - WTF does Dangerfield get singled out as a free agent? That's pretty unproffessional by the AFL to be putting a question like that in there.

I will look at it but do the AFL Seriously take notice of the Results?
They sent me a text after the Hawks/Swans game and asked a lot of questions about the game, the ground, how I felt about this and that.
I was very happy with nearly everything to be honest. You are all exceptionally spoilt at the G, certainly compared to the debacle we face every game at Manuka. Everything is shit from the wait to get in (miss a quarter or 2, even when you pre-book and prepay), the piss warm, overpriced beer only available in obscure brands you have line up an hour for and dog food they laughingly call Pies which are made from stinking homeless people, blanket and all.

The only thing funnily enough I was not happy about at the game was the Four and Twenty whatever it was which was semi-frozen and as above smelled of the homeless and their former blankets mixed with wet dog.
I pointed this out in the AFL survey.
Four'N'Twenty should be ashamed to put their name on the shit they served last Saturday night at the G.
