Without getting too carried away, I'm currently:
#582 on the fantasy team list,
#1 in the BigFooty group and
one off the pace in the tipping comp.
That said, there is a bloody big gap between #1 and #582.
If only I'd pick Peter Bell, Troy Cook and Simon Black instead of Shane Crawford, Chris Johnson and Wayne Carey... would be right up there...
Frankly I could give a toss about all of it as long as the Same Olds keep winning...

I had a shocker of a week, with three forced out late with injury, and a couple injured mid-game

Thanks for the invite matie - maybe later in the season.
Couldn't believe how much of bitchy ego fest that forum has turned into. Still the odd intelligent voice (eg: Kaz, Kate etc) but its just... well ugly.
Plus frankly I don't understand the point of turning up to the site of a team that's not having a great run and have been unlucky with injuries etc and gloat if your team's winning - niggle and humour is one thing but gloating...what's the point of that?
Maybe Alan's right to be a little bit paranoid about Essendon fans but I just reckon he brings most of it on himself with the "Frontrunner supporter" and "soft underbelly" lack of prespective/ respect BS.
I only used to like it cos you'd get an interesting conversation/ argument with knowledgable fans... but there are plenty on here - Jeez I reckon even our Dan has improved his standing about 5000% by taking a more reasoned perspective - but still getting to make his points and strongly.
Anyway, nice to see the plastic bubble has a door!
Good luck this week against the Hawks - they've got some injuries too so it should be a pretty close one.

Tell me about it! It's one thing to support your team, but those girls (mostly) just can't see reality sometimes.... Even our friend Al gets a little carried away.
