Mate, I'm with you there, I've been tossing up the Brogan/Lade combo and dropping Ottens forward all week, and now that King is in, I really think it could pay off.

If Geelong's ruck combo is going well, Lade and Brogan will probably both get a fair bit of time in the ruck. But like you said, when faced with a serious ruckman like Cox, Brogan did have an average game. Hamish Macintosh isn't what you'd call a bad ruckman, but he's no Cox or Ottens. Although if you look at round 21, Brogan had a pretty good game against Cats... anyone know what his average is like at the G?

I think it'll all come down to, how well you expect King to play in the ruck, and how likely you think Ebert is to have a 80+ point game. I don't see Brogan getting more than 80/90. But I also don't see him getting less than 65/70.

Too many things to consider. Dreamteams are stupid, I don't need this kind of stress in my life.

not overly helpful, though his form guide go against the stats....i do agree its a real toss up between brogan, ottens, ebert or motlop, and the other combo- ottens mtolop and ebert

without ebert, its pretty obvious that everyone will be including one of either westhoff or treadrea who both seem like compelte dudders for DT if you ask me? Unless u sacrafice your backline and midfield to mostly PA and include mooney and ottens.

The last spot in the midfield for a geelong player will most likely be either enright, Ling (NO??), selwood or kelly am i right? Anyone considering stokes?

Why did you include that? Are you considering Ling? I'd probably take Enright or selwood above him.

simply because he is a key midfielder and highly rated, just not for his DT scores. I think there will be people who come up short for the last spot and see his name and put him in on that.

symes is every so tempting, time to do some homework on his form this year and recent SANFL form, however wouldnt read too much into that.

enright is a lock, pearce is the worry fluctautes poor game in the victorious port team of rd 21.

also stokes is definately a viable option for the last position, powers defence is tall, stokes would be too nimble, or may tag burgoyne who would pay him no respect.
