Mate, I'm with you there, I've been tossing up the Brogan/Lade combo and dropping Ottens forward all week, and now that King is in, I really think it could pay off.
If Geelong's ruck combo is going well, Lade and Brogan will probably both get a fair bit of time in the ruck. But like you said, when faced with a serious ruckman like Cox, Brogan did have an average game. Hamish Macintosh isn't what you'd call a bad ruckman, but he's no Cox or Ottens. Although if you look at round 21, Brogan had a pretty good game against Cats... anyone know what his average is like at the G?
I think it'll all come down to, how well you expect King to play in the ruck, and how likely you think Ebert is to have a 80+ point game. I don't see Brogan getting more than 80/90. But I also don't see him getting less than 65/70.
Too many things to consider. Dreamteams are stupid, I don't need this kind of stress in my life.![]()
yeh heres some stats on brogan....
AWAY games 2007 ave-61, high-77, low-40
LOSING games 2007 ave- 43(only 2 games was injured in other losses) high-46, low-39

VS GEELONG last 2 yrs- 45, 31, DNP, 76
not overly helpful, though his form guide go against the stats....i do agree its a real toss up between brogan, ottens, ebert or motlop, and the other combo- ottens mtolop and ebert
