It's OK - I'll take anything onboard - I will look at video of nat tomorrow and see how often he has a sock down and then see if our system will easily adapt for it.

I know I hated it when I had one sock down though, bloody right sock would never stay up

As far as colours or sponsors, that stuff *will* be sorted as the AFL will approve (or not) everything in the game.

i think he prefers them down, he jsut has a shin guard under one so that one must stay up

If so, are you able to tell us what some of reportable offences are that you're implementing in the game? (eg. head high/charging/tripping?)

It has been hard to bit my tongue when reading all the posts, emails, and listening to the voicemail over the past two years.... but some things need to remain confidential until closer to the release - there needs to be something in the press release!

I really wish I could show video of gameplay, etc.. as that would answer a lot of questions for you all, but at least the guys from Big Footy who come in to look at the game will be non-Big Ant "aligned". I really can't wait for that to happen so that they can report back to you all openly and honestly - the proof they say is in the pudding.

Yeah, but then you're using tape every week and having to chuck it out, the gloves last for a while. The recommendation came from someone who played AFL so I thought it was worth trying and it does work. Not that I play footy anymore, but it did.

To be honest after 2 player faces this game has by far exceded what i was expecting, which is absolutely awesome

If you can answer it (or partially answer it), how is the player development aspect going to be handled in the game? For example, take the 2009 draftees; how are the potential player ratings going to be assigned? Is it something like:

First round draftees - potential rating of 90+
second round draftees - potential rating of 80-90

Also, is there going to be an aspect encoded where certain limitations (injury/poor form and/or confidence) may prevent them from reaching their potential rating? I think in FIFA, it's all got to do with confidence. The more a young player plays the better his confidence is and thus the player growth increases.

theres no tribunal but can players be suspended in (whatever mode may be in the game)? like just randomly like afl 2007 it says reported after you do a completely legit tackle?
