SOOO….He grew up as a Hawks supporter at the peak of our powers in the 80’s, then lucked in to the Bears/Lions merger and was part of the early 2000’s 3peat THEN was gifted a star studded premiership team in his first year as a coach and benefitted from Dangerfield wanting to come home, the Bowes and pick 7 trade, and a new stadium paid by the government for his team. It wasn’t just yesterday, the poor guy has been dealing with adversity his whole football career!

Difference is Geelong were the home side in preliminary final and grand final.
