Do they not have a single member of staff watching the TV feed? Seems everyone at home knew what the coach didn't.
Chris Scott would have told Jezza at half time. āYou get the ***k out there and kick some goals and win us the game. Iāve had to cop a lot of s**t for that farm of yoursāI could see it from the other side of the world. Just seemed pretty certain it was a break when they ran the replay and his reaction.
The one handed tackle and subsequent tumble put an exclamation point on it.
No way they didnāt know imo. Just not possible, I mean why did they think he was off so long?
"Home" or "away" team is bollocks, should be irrelevant in prelims and grannies (and yes I agree Lions shouldn't have been able to play their crap either)Difference is Geelong were the home side in preliminary final and grand final.
The away team shouldn't be able to dictate the ground pa system.
I didn't notice it live but in the highlights saw Baz absolutely squib a contested ball that Zorko body lined and won and gave off to Neale for that massive goal just before 3/4 time.I hope our players and coaches noted that Bailey Smith and Tyson Stengle both flinched when under physical pressure in the GF. I was a bit disappointed that in the Prelim our bigger-bodied guys like Hardwick, Meek, Nash and Newcombe didn't smash into the cats at every opportunity. I hope they watched how Brisbane made a few of them run up the white flag and that we try and do the same next year.
The stengle squib was very notable at the time. Im surprised more hasnt been made of itI didn't notice it live but in the highlights saw Baz absolutely squib a contested ball that Zorko body lined and won and gave off to Neale for that massive goal just before 3/4 time.
Talk is cheap Bailey - when its your turn to go, you gotta go.
Certainly attracted notice on the Fox commentaryThe stengle squib was very notable at the time. Im surprised more hasnt been made of it
We need a gif.....for prosperityCertainly attracted notice on the Fox commentary
Dunstall gave it one of his comments usually reserved for hawks

I wonder if he's any relation to 2010's fringe Geelong ruckman Trent West. The craziest bit is Catmanās dad was actually a Geelong 1963 Premiership player - Roy West
Son of Roy so brothers.I wonder if he's any relation to 2010's fringe Geelong ruckman Trent West.

Still waiting for Jeremy Cameron to kick his 100th goal.
Yeah I've got a feeling he did alot more damage to it staying out there playing on.I feel pretty bad that he broke his arm. I'm also impressed with his ability to withstand some serious pain. He's a tough guy, no doubt.
But the decision to stay out there with a break is a bit me, me, me. Even allowing for his one armed, run down tackle (that did more damage to his arm as well).
No matter which way you slice and dice it, his team would have been better off with a fit player out there.
All that 100 goal talk was a real measure of overconfidence, if it was coming from in house. Just plain silly. It had been pointed out a lot before their game with us in the Prelim, that they were not tested since before rd. 12.
And sure enough... when the heat went up, they wilted. As a lot of us believed they would, and had pointed out here on bf often, for very good reasons.
What is this sovereign citizen stuff ?By the way, does anyone know when the sovereign citizens grand final is played![]()
Itās a polite way of describing what the left would call an unvaxxed cooker crackpot. Some on here with your recent posting might also think youāre a sovereign citizen. LolololWhat is this sovereign citizen stuff ?

Donāt think so. Trent is a Wonthaggi lad. I played with him when he first transitioned from juniors to seniors.Son of Roy so brothers.
Yeah not a relation I donāt think, Catman is almost 60 too so definitely not Trentās brother. An uncle maybe but unlikely to be related at allDonāt think so. Trent is a Wonthaggi lad. I played with him when he first transitioned from juniors to seniors.
